Part 6

Words+Pictures+Emotions =Comfort Zone

We all have a comfort zone based upon our experiences, as soon as we get out of your comfort zone something is going to not feel good. For example, you are wanted on the phone!

1. You hear the word emergency.

 2. Car Wreck a Picture.

 3. Fear of who is it a loved one?

Which brings an emotion, or feelings. Heaven or Hell which will it be?

Heaven-Hell Words-Paradise-torment ĖPicture. Joy unspeakable-weeping, gnashing of teeth-Emotions, or feeling.

Everything we do needs to be based upon who do you chose? God? or Satan? Now your imagination, I hope is working, because of the vividness of reality. So what is once recorded weíre stuck with? True or false? If you chose to make a change in yourself image, you use positive imagination to create a new sub-conscience picture of your self and this will bring about a change you desire, true or false? Can you see the reason man can become God in his own right? The strong can overcome bad habits and attitudes, but how about the weak? The poor?

Letís look at our self esteem and how important it is we learn to talk to ourselves positively. It reinforces good positive self imaging, so Iím letting God control my life by performing, for the King of Kings. That is reality, the world wants to see in Christians obedience as he did in the beginning.  Positive self talk stimulates either Positive, or Negative actions and behaviors, depending upon who your serving. Note the story that unfolds for us in Judges 1 after the death of Joshua, when the people asked "Who shall be first to go up for us against the Canaanites to fight against them?"
2 And the Lord said, "Judah shall go up. Indeed I have delivered the land into his hand." Judges 1:1-2 (NKJV) Note the word picture, 1. Judah shall go up. 2. I have delivered the land into his hand. How many times do we have to experience the hand of the Lord, before we can really trust the Lord? Note Judah wanted more assurance, so asked Simeon his brother to help in verse 3.

Achieving Your Potential Part 5

Be prepared! Be alert! Watch!

Thank the Lord for He never leaves us and I trust, we will never leave Him. We are seeing the nations of the world very concerned, with the amount of terrorist who want to destroy Israel and the United States.  God has given every one the ability to make a choice, in order for us to reach our potential as people and as nations. We need to take the weapons and Armour God has given us, that have been shown to bring peace into our world. David in the Old Testament gives us the assurance there is no enemy that can defeat us, as he showed in defeating the Giant in 1 Sam 17:45-47 (NKJV)  Then David said to the Philistine, "You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.
46 This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.
47 Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord's, and He will give you into our hands."

Then in  2 Cor 10:4-6 (NKJV) Paul tells us, For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,
5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,
6 and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. Are you seeing the importance of accepting all the Lord has in His store house to make us successful and peaceful? Letís look at another very important verse in Ephesians 6:13-20 (NKJV) 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;
18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints--
19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel,
20 for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Not only are Spiritual weapons required to reach our potential we need to understand we are fighting invisible foes. Ephesians 6:10-12 (NKJV) 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

It is not people we see, it is the spirit of people which cause us concern, for every one does not perform by obeying the Word of the Lord. It is not just who do you have faith in, but how strong is your faith? Only as individuals do we put on the whole armor. Someone else canít put on our garment, itís our faith and we canít give it away, without hurting our selves. God gives everyone faith the size of a mustard seed. One of the smallest of seeds, but seed grows as it germinates in our belief.

Everyone does not know the truth, so hurt themselves and others. Lord help us, to never put our confidence in men, but in God. It is the Lords might that gives us victory against the wiles of the devil.
