Matthew 7 New King James Version Chapter 7 continues and concludes Christ’s sermon on the mount that is practical and direct between God and mankind, to make us better and better in every way, when we follow the rules as is seen in verses 1 to 6. The we see the way we are to encourage one another in 7 to 11. Then we will see the need to be strict and disciplined in our conversation to one another, 12 to 14. Then we are cautioned to heed false prophets 15 to 20. Followed by the conclusion of the whole sermon, being obedient to the Lords commands, so we can be happy and blest. For we are to obey Christ’s doctrines given to all believers, so we are preserved and protected by the blood of the Lamb of God. God wants to save us from Satan’s lies and deceptions. Do Not Judge 7 “Judge[a] not, that you be not judged. Here we are seeing Gods grace that is given to us to obey2 For with what [b]judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. 3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. 6 “Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces. How do we treat the faults of others determines our relationship to God? We have judges that minister righteousness of the Lord and it seems like there is a break down in our Judges to day, for many themselves do not want Gods will to be done in justices for all. So, we are seeing lawlessness abound. Then we as Christians feel like we have that right of judging people to make sure justice reigns. This does not work for God needs to be restored in our Judicial System again to have goodwill and peace. Let’s look at ourselves, we are not the law givers, God is in the judgement seat. It is so easy for use to pronounce Judgement based on our feelings and not the truth of we are all guilty of; sin. It is so easy for the natural man to be uncharitable, unmerciful and want revenge right now. We must see, we can’t see the reasons, for it is Gods prerogative to try the heart, so we can step into His throne calling them hypocrites, reprobates and castaways that is stepping into Gods way. We need to counsel and help in any way we can and not judge him or her. The more we judge others the more we are going to be judged ourselves by man. Everyone has a stone to throw. It was easy for man to criticize Haggar for having Ishmael for being a wild man with his hand against all men Genesis 16:12. Lord help us to show mercy to others reputation. For we are all going to appear before God and are going to be accountable to Him and Him alone. Lord help us to love others, so we can be forgiven of our wanting to control the situation. God forgives those that are in need of being forgiven, so we can continue to love the unlovely. The merciful will find mercy. It will be evident by our love for Gods will and ways. |

13 And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. But deliver us from the evil one. Thank the Lord He does not lead us into temptation, Temptation is always present in our world, just as it was in the beginning of time. Who do we listen to determines who we follow? Satan is the master deceiver and wants us to all feel like we are little gods, able to do and say whatever we want with no consequences. What a lie that is seen today around our world, as right is wrong and wrong is right. 1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. [d]For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. Yours is the Kingdom, refers to God’s Kingdom is what gives us the ability to be controlled by His Spirit given to us at birth. God want us to realize where our power comes from. Where is life in the womb as child? It is abiding in the mother womb. Where is our life, but abiding in the Vine; Jesus, so we can have life new every morning. There are 105 verses in the bible explaining the Kingdom of God which is ours as believers, for we are not of this world, but the Kingdom of God. We are seeing company’s wanting to have the power to regulate what is bought and sold, and the internet us a tool used by Amazon to control our buying and selling. The internet is a Kingdom unto itself and is becoming a kingdom of technology. We are seeing things out of hand and people are wondering what is going to happen next in our world. Thank the Lord the Church is becoming more positive and people are seeing the need for a savior; for man can’t, but God can give us peace, so we can love one another regardless of the race or personality. The Kingdom of God loves one another and wants the best, for all lives matter. 14 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. What a statement, if we forgive others for their wrongs God will forgive us. Thank the Lord it is not who we are, but who do we serve and worship. God wants us to understand, He paid for our salvation on the cross and wants us to love Him and all that requires. Do you know how to forgive those who despitefully treat you? Look at how Christian voices are put down and even prevented from having a voice. Yet God is listening and giving empowerment to His followers to keep speaking up for the truth and voting for the truth. Lord help us to increase our faith as we see the persecution around the world and people accepting not grumbling and complaining, but willing suffering for the Kingdom of God.15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. What a responsibility the Lord has given to us for it is a privilege to show our appreciation to the Lord. That is being disciplined doing what God request of us when we are to love one another, and pray for even our enemies. God wants us as His child to grow up and become mature realizing mankind is, just sinners needing forgiveness when we make mistakes we do not mean to. 16 “Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the [e]hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 17 But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, 18 so that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you [f]openly. Thank the Lord for the ability to fast for it shows a dependency upon the Lord for substance to stay alive. Fasting is disciplining one self from food that increases weight and settle for juices that invigorate one body so your body does not have to work at digesting heavy foods. It prevents you from carrying the weights of this world upon your shoulders as you surrender your all to the Lord. |

Hallowed be Your name. Is there a name greater than the name of Jesus? No; He is still the way, truth and life that we need to day to keep our selves sane and understanding it is not I, but the Lord living in us giving us the empowerment to be like Jesus. For we are created in His image that’s the reason we all have faith the size of a mustard seed. It’s our faith that allows us, to love one another and pray for one another to accept the way, truth and life found in His Hallowed name. 10 Your kingdom come. Are we seeing Gods kingdom come now or are we seeing the kingdom of this world coming to pass? Note we are hearing talk of one World Government, one Economical system and one Religion and it is happening to where we are seeing the possibility of a mark that we are going to have to have, so we can buy and sell. So, are we wanting the Kingdom of God to come? Yes: for God is able to care for His own and must be getting ready to call us all home. Let’s be ready with our lamps full of the Holy Spirit of God’s Kingdom as we read about in Acts 2:1-4 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all [a]with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them [b]divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Notice we see God wants His will to be done today and tomorrow, really all the time in our hearts. The 10th verse Your kingdom Come Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Thank the Lord, God is not negligent in what He is doing. His will is for us in the beginning of time was, for us to trust and obey His will and not do our thing. He loves us the way He created us, for His goodwill and peace, Satan is out to destroy all God loves. That is all God created for our will being in the Church, Businesses and Government so we have peace in every area of life. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. Now we are shifting to what God wants, to what we need as human beings. It is interesting how babies have to learn how to suck and eat, so they can grow to maturity. It is no different with a child of the Lord, we need what we can digest from Gods treasure, His house, His Bible in our hearts. It is God’s word that needs to be taught, so we learn how to stay away from lies that will kill us. Gods word is easy to accept when we start to digest it, so it is profitable to our bodies 5 senses of eyes, ears, mouth, nose and feelings. God created for us to see our souls, imagination, conscience, reason, memory, reason and affection grow in Gods spirit He gave to us all. Who do we worship, reverence, have faith and hope in to answer our prayers? Remember, we are Gods Children and He wants us to become more and more like Him. So that we can forgive ourselves.
