Matthew 1:21 And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name [a]Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”
51.   Notice His name Jesus a Savior. Joshua is called Jesus in Acts 744 Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as He appointed, instructing Moses to make it according to the pattern that he had seen, 45 which our fathers, having received it in turn, also brought with Joshua into the land possessed by the Gentiles, whom God drove out before the face of our fathers until the days of David, 46 who found favor before God and asked to find a dwelling for the God of Jacob. 47 But Solomon built Him a house. Then in Hebrews 4For if [b]Joshua had given them rest, then He would not afterward have spoken of another day. There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. 10 For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His. From the beginning God sent Moses to free Israel from the bondage of Pharaoh Egypt’s leader, then when they settled in the Promised land of Israel, Joshua was Captain and they had the law to obey. Now today, Jesus is our Emmanuel, our Captain! Not only was Joshua a high Priest, Jesus is our High Priest, when we are under captivity to sin, for He rescues us. look at Zechariah 6: 9  we see The Command to Crown Joshua! Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: 10 “Receive the gift from the captives—from Heldai, Tobijah, and Jedaiah, who have come from Babylon—and go the same day and enter the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah. 11 Take the silver and gold, make an[b] elaborate crown, and set it on the head of Joshua the son of the high priest. 12 Then speak to him, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, saying: “Behold, the Man whose name is the BRANCH!
From His place He shall [c]branch out,
And He shall build the temple of the Lord;
13 Yes, He shall build the temple of the Lord.
He shall bear the glory, And shall sit and rule on His throne; So He shall be a priest on His throne, And the counsel of peace shall be between [d]them both.”  Jesus Christ is our Joshua, Captain of our Salvation, as the High Priest of our profession. He is our Salvation. High Priest of our body’s eyes, ears, mouth, nose and feeling. Our Souls imagination, conscience, memory, reason and affection and Spirits five senses worship, reverence, faith, hope and prayer. He is able to save to the uttermost like no other, for He is our Father. No one else can take the place of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. For the simple reason. He saves us from all our sins. All we need to do is give up to Gods way, truth and life. It is His grace, mercy and justice that is given freely to all who believe.  Not to sin, or in sin, but out of sins hold of addictions. Liberty to sin? No, not to sin. He Redeems us, Titus 2: 11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. 15 Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you. Then let’s look at Romans 1125 For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own [f]opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. 26 And so all Israel will be [g]saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob; 27 For this is My covenant with them,
When I take away their sins.”
When I take away their sins.”

"EMMAUEL" GOD WITH US

Emmanuel “God with us”
Christ Born of Mary
Matthew 1: 18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit. 19 Then Joseph her husband, being [f]a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly. 20 But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is [g]conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. 21 And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name [h]Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins. 22 So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: 23 Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel, which is translated, God with us. 24 Then Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to him his wife, 25 and [i]did not know her till she had brought forth her[j] firstborn Son. And he called His name Jesus.
What we have just read is a mystery of God of Christs incarnation, we need to adorn, not to be pried into, like how are the bones developed and when does the blood enter the new body. Jesus was formed in the womb giving the blood of life to all to live and breath. We are not an accident Ecclesiastes 11:saysAs you do not know what is the way of the [a]wind, Or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child, So you do not know the works of God who makes everything. It is still a secret how Life develops in the womb for which we can be thankful fo if we knew we would be scared for sure
Here we see Mary espoused to Joseph, not yet completely married, for Christ was born of a virgin that was betrothed, which was honorable above all. Joseph was a carpenter, so Jesus was going to be the Son of a Carpenter.  Joseph was a just man and Mary was a virtuous woman, before they came together, when she was found with child by the Holy Spirit. She was with Elizabeth for 3 months as we see in Luke 1:39 to 45 3Now Mary arose in those days and went into the hill country with haste, to a city of Judah, 40 and entered the house of Zacharias and greeted Elizabeth. 41 And it happened, when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, that the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. 42 Then she spoke out with a loud voice and said, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! 43 But why is this granted to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? 44 For indeed, as soon as the voice of your greeting sounded in my ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy. 45 Blessed is she who [h]believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord.” Here we see Mary wanting to hide what was going on in her body and went to stay with Elizabeth three months, yet we can’t hide the presence of God in our lives, for He is going to make himself known. Never was a daughter of Eve so blessed as Mary as she was entrusted by God to take care of the Son of God with-in her. Elizabeth found a blessing from Mary as her babe leaped within her and she was filled with the Holy Spirit. I hope we are wanting the Holy Spirits will to manifest Himself to all of us, in the day we are living in. So that we know without a shadow of doubt, God is in control to give us the assurance, He is in charge of all that is going on with lawlessness we see around the world.

We Need Our Church Community

Hebrew  10:19-25  was our devotion Wed the 1st of December and I said Honey I am going to develop a Message so we can Hold Fast Our Confession that has been a part of my life being raised in a Christian home, where we even played Church, singing hymens’ and taking an offering and someone preaching. We went to Church Sunday Morning, Sunday night and Wed night and if we had a revival service we attended 2 or three weeks consecutively. We looked forward to Church, for it was a time of feasting upon the thing of the Lord, we wanted more of God. Everyone of us had a relationship with the Lord and shared it where ever we went. We always knew God was with us as we abode with Him. So we never forgot who we were, and when we did sin we asked the Lord to forgive us, and he did. Ellis, Lowell and our Sister Anna Lee where all married and we saw our families grow up with the same type of love for the Lord as we had. It was always great to spent time with my brothers and Sisters family, for God was always giving us showers of blessing. My Dads Family came to the USA in 1050 from England where the Canterbury’s, a Religious group dictated to them. They wanted Freedom and came to the United States. So the Campfield Family has a history of being followers of the Lord. So here we are preaching the Gospel in Harrah and are so thankful, for what the Lord has in store for all of us here in the White Swan School District.  Let’s look at Romans 10:19 to 31.
19 Therefore, brethren, having boldness[a] to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21 and having a High Priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Thank the Lord He’s provided all who call upon Him honor and the privilege to follow Him by choice. 1. We can come boldly into the Holy of Holies as we enter His Presence. The Lord gives us a liberty of Spirit to tell the good-news, Jesus saves as we abide in His Spirit! He gives us the assistance needed to prove our acceptance of His Righteousness. 2. He is our High Priest, over the House of the Lord His Church. He presides over His Church militant, as Ambassadors in the Kingdom of God, triumphant in heaven as on earth. We see fallen man can’t dwell with God without a High Priest, for He is our mediator to reconcile us to bear good fruit. We need to enjoy one another by the blood of the Lamb, for He purchased us, to have free asses to Gods glory and grace. It was His blood sprinkled on our conscience chasing away slavish fear, giving us the assurance of Safety in His presence.
Verse 20 shows 1. He is the only way truth and life, no other way. 2. It is a new way, no longer law, but now grace. Not of works lest we could boast, it is God’s love, mercy and grace. 3. It is a living way, a living Savior seated on the Right side of God. Here he lived among us, died and after three day rose to be with His Father God. Very much alive interceding for us. 4. He is Christ consecrated to us, through the Temple vail that was ripped from top to bottom, so we may see into Gods glory now. It is so good and precious to know the Lord in such a way, as He is personally by our side, as He promised to be. How does this all happen? By drawing near to God, as we do not want to keep a distance, but be like Enoch who walk with God and God took him. I trust you truly dependent upon the Lord to guide you through this world of confusion and turmoil of Lawlessness, so you do not fall, or even stumble.
We need to have a new heart, that is full of assurance without lack of faith, as our faith is in God, who you want to please. This happens when we want our hearts sprinkled with the Blood of the Lamb, so we are pure and holy, sanctified by Gods Holy Spirit living in us as followers.  We need that washing of Gods pure water of baptism daily, moment by moment, which is the sanctifying, of the Holy Spirit of God given to us by Jesus who lives in us, keeping us holy and pure. Remember the Priest washed before going into the Temple where God Spirit was.
