Revival What we need to know about revival, so we can worship, reverence, have faith and hope in God to answer our prayers, in order to see our Souls imagination, conscience, reason, memory and affections, can be in tune with the Holy Spirit of God. Then our bodies, eyes, ears, mouth and nose can feel good by being blest of the Lord, in such a way that we are blessing to other at all times able to pray for our enemies. We can only pray for our enemies when we are able to truly love God. We have a message that must be passed down as we are revived again and again. This is a must and it comes from the Knowledge of the law of God. Romans 7:9 I was alive once without the law, but when the commandment came, sin revived and I died. We need to understand when we die to sin, we are alive to obey the way, truth and life the Lord has in store for us. We can’t but God can do His work in our lives. The Spirit of God becomes our teacher and counselor leading us into all truth, so we are Ambassadors in the Kingdom of Gods. Gods Holy Spirit is wanting us be revived again and again, so we are alive with the good news Jesus saves, keeps and satisfies with the joy of the Lords presence. We then are able to speak and worship with hymns and songs according to Ephesians 5:18 -19 18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, 20 giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, 21 submitting to one another in the fear of God. Then Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Are you there yet where you able to praise the Lord regardless of the circumstance you’re in? Look at James 5:13 “ Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms.” This is possible when we are full of the Holy Spirit. For our imagination time vividness is able to equal reality that is true and not false. The we are able to see Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Emotionalism is not true anointing for the anointing is being wrapped up in ecstasy! It’s not the drug you get from a dealer but one that comes as your waiting upon the Holy Spirits empowerment to be Godlike. It’s being full of joy of the Holy Spirit. Acts 13: 52 And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit. Your able to have Personal Prayer when going through difficulties Just like Paul ad Silas did in Acts 16: 25 But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed. 27 And the keeper of the prison, awaking from sleep and seeing the prison doors open, supposing the prisoners had fled, drew his sword and was about to kill himself. 28 But Paul called with a loud voice, saying, “Do yourself no harm, for we are all here.” 29 Then he called for a light, ran in, and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas. 30 And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” 31 So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” 32 Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. 33 And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their stripes. And immediately he and all his family were baptized. 34 Now when he had brought them into his house, he set food before them; and he rejoiced, having believed in God with all his household. It is time for the Church to be saturated with the Word of God, to be continually filled with the Holy Spirit to have true worship that is lasting throughout the crises we may be going through! Remember who you all and what God has in store for you on a you’re on the way, to the truth and life found as you seek the will of the Lord. Seek and you will find and knock for God to open the windows of heaven! |

Let’s look at the Biblical Culture in the Kingdom of God and the 12 blessings God gave us all. Everything we see was created by God in a way that we could enjoy life to the fullest degree. 1. God is Exalted When Joshua took over the leadership of ancient Israel God said “Today I will begin to exalt you in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with you” (Anyone who exalts themselves is wrong to do so because only God can exalt someone. Jesus said “Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted” (Matt 23:12) for God Himself “has brought down the mighty from their thrones and exalted those of humble estate” (Luke 1:52). Even “Christ did not exalt himself to be made a high priest, but was appointed by him who said to him, “You are my Son, today I have begotten you’” God blesses those nations who live in righteousness too as we read in Proverbs 14:34 “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people” but He will also humble those nations who live in unrighteousness. The psalmist had the most to write about exalting or exaltation (28 times) and it was always toward God, writing “Be exalted, O Lord, in your strength! We will sing and praise your power” (Psalm 57:11) “For you are the glory of their strength; by your favor our horn is exalted” (Psalm 89:17). 2. Bible honored and taught. We are to teach our kids at home as De 6: 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. Then train Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it. Nurture Cor. 12:14 14 Now for the third time I am ready to come to you. And I will not be burdensome to you; for I do not seek yours, but you. For the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children. Control Ephesians 6:4 And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord. -Love 1 Timothy 3:4 one who rules his own house well, having his children in submission with all reverence Titus 2:4 that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, Correct Proverbs 23:13. Do not withhold correction from a child,For if you beat him with a rod, he will not die. 3. Authenticity of Worship Ps 95:6; Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. Ps.23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will [a]dwell in the house of the Lord Forever. 4 Genuine Love.1 Cor 13:13; And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, Eph 5:25. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, 5. Build relationships. A great relationship doesn’t happen because of love you have in the beginning, but how well you continue building love to the end. 6. Pastoral care-The word pastor comes from the Latin word for “shepherd.” A pastor is to be a shepherd or caretaker of God’s flock. “Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, serving as overseers—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock” (1 Peter 5:2-3,2 Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but [a]willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly; 3 nor as being [b]lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock; 7. Commitment and dedication- What is commitment? 1. A definition: a pledge to fulfill, an obligation, to obligate ourselves to a cause. 2. Synonyms: responsibility, pledge, promise, vow, resolution, determination. 1. Matthew 19:16-22 16 Now behold, one came and said to Him, “Good[a] Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?” 17 So He said to him, [b]“Why do you call Me good? [c]No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.” 18 He said to Him, “Which ones?” Jesus said, “‘You shall not murder,’ ‘You shall not commit adultery,’ ‘You shall not steal,’ ‘You shall not bear false witness,’ 19 ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ ” 20 The young man said to Him, “All these things I have kept [d]from my youth. What do I still lack?” 21 Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” 22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions. a. This young man was not totally committed financially – he cared more for his money than he did the Lord b. Totally committed means totally committed 2. Matthew 10:34-39 34 “Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. 35 For I have come to ‘set[a] a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’; 36 and ‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.’ 37 He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.38 And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. 39 He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it. a. We are to be totally committed – to put God above ALL people or things. We are even to put God above our family. What is dedication Romans 12:1-2 12 I beseech[a] you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your [b]reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. 8. Leadership7 Biblical Models of Leadership As a church staff or volunteer ministry leader, you can learn valuable and unique lessons from several biblical characters. Here are seven whose leadership played a significant role in leading the early church and furthering the gospel. "I have appointed you as a light for the Gentiles, to bring salvation to the ends of the earth" (Acts 13:47). Paul thought of himself as nothing in the total scheme of things. He was thoroughly subservient to the will of God, and he was committed to a specific, meaningful mission. His leadership was built not so much on ancestry from the Jewish lineage as by faithfulness. He would build the walls on faith. Joshua had been in the presence of God. A theophany had taken place in Joshua 5:15: "The commander of the Lord's army said to Joshua, "Remove the sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy." And Joshua did so." He was nicknamed "son of encouragement" (Acts 4:36). He bridged the gaps between the Greek and Jewish worlds. Born a Cypriot and reared a Levite, he linked the Hellenistic world and the Jerusalem church. Even when John Mark was being severely ostracized by Paul, Barnabas stood by John Mark. Moses was seen as the patient leader of a people with little faith (Ex. 16:8, 8 Also Moses said, “This shall be seen when the Lord gives you meat to eat in the evening, and in the morning bread to the full; for the Lord hears your complaints which you make against Him. And what are we? Your complaints are not against us but against the Lord.” His church was a murmuring people. They complained and whined at every inconvenience (Ex. 15:24; 4 And the people complained against Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?” 16: 2-3). 2 Then the whole congregation of the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness. 3 And the children of Israel said to them, “Oh, that we had died by the hand of the Lord in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the pots of meat and when we ate bread to the full! For you have brought us out into this wilderness to kill this whole assembly with hunger.” He did get disgusted. Remember, he struck the rock and disobeyed God, but his patience had worn thin. He had had enough. Today's nomenclature calls it tough love. Some call it a tough mind and a tender heart. Elijah had both. He loved God. He had the courage to speak to the evils of his day. Where is your God, he asked. "Perhaps he's sleeping and will wake up!" (1 Kings 18:27). In Matthew 16, Peter was both a "rock" and a "stumbling block." He was both blessed and disgraced almost in the same breath. It is enough to discourage any pastor. You are the foundation. You are the devil's advocate. Discouraged by the disapproval of Jesus, yet blessed by the warmth and affection of Jesus. Resilience may be the cornerstone of effective leadership. 9. 5 Gifts in operation In the earliest days of the church, followers of Jesus embraced five core spiritual gifts―apostles, prophets, evangelists, shepherds, and teachers―and the world was set on fire as a result. 10. Evangelistic Thrust. Within Christianity, evangelism ministry is any ministry whose chief aim is to win converts to Christ. ... In addition to vocational evangelists, many churches encourage their lay-people to become involved in evangelistic ministry by sharing their faith with others. 11. Reality The Spirit is the reality of Christ (John 15:26; 26 “But when the [a]Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me. 1 John 5:6). 6 This is He who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth. The Spirit is the reality of Christ's death, the reality of Christ's resurrection, ... 12 Transformed by Gods Image And we all having been unveiled in face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image, from glory to glory, even as ... 2 Corinthians 3:18 KJV 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as [a]by the Spirit of the Lord.
1. Paul: "Believe in something bigger than yourself."2. Nehemiah: "Build on what God has given you."3. Joshua: "Bring the best people to the table."4. Barnabas: "Bridge the gaps of differing opinions."5. Moses: "Blind your eyes to petty criticism."6. Elijah: "Bind the ties of love and courage."7. Peter: "Bounce back after you are knocked down."

Thank the Lord for the ability to talk so we can communicate to better ourselves. Thank the Lord for the power of the Holy Spirits tongue the Lord gave to us all as we accept the filling of the Spirit of God. When people dwell together in unity they have the Holy Spirit of God and God is going to bless as He is in control of the whole person. Acts 2 gives us a picture that is the most misunderstood chapter in the Bible it seems today. Coming of the Holy Spirit did happen! 2 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all [a]with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, (very strong) and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. (everyone felt as will as heard what was happening) 3 Then there appeared to them [b]divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. (The day of empowerment to redeem was now present to sanctify and cleanse from sin) (God was giving all Jesus’s Spirit that was certainly holy) (Fear was swallowed up and became a reason to call upon the Lord) The Crowd’s Response 5 And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven. 6 And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language. 7 Then they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, “Look, are not all these who speak Galileans? 8 And how is it that we hear, each in our own [c]language in which we were born? 9 Parthians and Medes and Elamites, those dwelling in Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, 10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya adjoining Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, 11 Cretans and [d]Arabs—we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God.” 12 So they were all amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, “Whatever could this mean?” (Here we see people not using their native mother tongue, but a Holy Spirits Tongue given by God to minister to people of another language or tongue) (They were not scholars just plain-spoken people, of their own language.) (Remember Moses saying to God he could not speak and God said you have Aron, he can speak for you!) (Jesus did not speak in other tongue for He was the Holy Spirit given to us by God) 13 Others mocking said, “They are full of new wine.” (The people were amazed for they were not taught, but spoke the words of Gods Spirit. It bought people together in harmony) (But some thought they were full of new wine, drunk. Out of their minds with intoxication) But Peter’s Sermon was ordained 14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words. 15 For these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only [e]the third hour of the day. 16 But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: 17 ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. 18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy. 19 I will show wonders in heaven above And signs in the earth beneath: Blood and fire and vapor of smoke. 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. 21 And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved.’ That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. 21 And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved.’ (It is very hard to know the truth today as we are accepting a lie as the truth and the truth as a lie, just like Peter did, not realizing what he was doing when he said, Lord I will not deny you and sure enough he did. Here he is assured of His Salvation as he lifts up his voice so all could hear. My Master Jesus has shown me grace, for he is speaking with authority and people are listening. This people are not drunken they are being moved upon by the Holy Spirit. As Christian we will never learn above the Bible. It is the Spirit that helps us understand the Bible. Here we see Peter talking about the last days when His Spirit is pouring out words with tongues upon believers, giving them an experience beyond the normal, but supernatural. We are seeing now not just prophets like in the Old Testament being anointed and guided by the Spirit, but the New Testament believers. It is a new day of judgement a terrible day. Matthew 23:13-25 talks about 7 woes. 1. Woe to Those who shut up the Kingdom of God. 2. Woe to Hypocrites. 3. Woe to blind guides. 4. Woe to fools. 5. Woe to those you pay tithes, but do not obey the law. 6. Woe to those who are clean on the outside, but dirty on the inside. 7 Woe to idol worshipers. This was the most notable day for the world was full of Gods glories. A very illustrious day, The Coming of the Spirit of God using man’s tongue. Look at today we are seeing wonders in the heaven as the Sun turns into darkness in many parts of our world because of pollution. We are seeing blood shed as never before and terrible floods and tornados and Hurricanes and firy comets setting over cities. Jewish neighbors wanting to destroy Israel. Lots of burning of cities and destroying of property, lawlessness abounding just to name a few woes. “Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know— 23 Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you [f]have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death; 24 whom God raised up, having [g]loosed the [h]pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it. 25 For David says concerning Him: ‘I foresaw the Lord always before my face, For He is at my right hand, that I may not be shaken. 26 Therefore my heart rejoiced, and my tongue was glad; Moreover my flesh also will rest in hope. 27 For You will not leave my soul in Hades, Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption. 28 You have made known to me the ways of life; You will make me full of joy in Your presence.’ (Here now they have just experienced the Holy Spirits empowerment of speaking in the anointing of tongues of fire. As Peter is calling out for help, as he is speaking to them under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. No man can do these works unless God is our strong tower. Here he is accusing them of killing Jesus, a divine justice is satisfied and when completed, He cried out it is finished. God raised up Christ and He is seated at the right hand of God interceding for all who call upon Him. He abolished death and we are all witnesses. God is on my right hand for action, straightening, guiding, upholding us, so we will not be moved as we are rejoicing in another tongue that make us glad, so we can rejoice in disappointments. That is the reason we rest in the vine; Jesus so we can produce goodwill and peace to all.) 29 “Men and brethren, let me speak freely to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. 30 Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, [i]according to the flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne, 31 he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption. 32 This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses. 33 Therefore being exalted [j]to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear. (Thank the Lord Christians are ruled by reason and God loves us all and just wants us to love and adore Him? When we abide in the Out Stretched hands of the Lord we are not going to be lift in our sins but redeemed or bought back to our Fathers will. It is so easy to be led by the flesh, when God wants to control our spirit. It is so hard to give up our rights to God but His way is the truth and life.) 34 “For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself: ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, 35 Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.” ’ 36 “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.” (Thank the Lord there is only one Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and He want all of you so we can convince others of the way, truth and life.) 37 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?” (What a question Adam and Eve should of answered with no, we will not eat of the fruit of Good and Evil but they did and were cast out of the garden.) 38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the [k]remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.” (Repent -Repent-Repent keeps the Holy Spirit flowing in our bodies, souls and spirits! We become alive with the Spirit of God) A Vital Church Grows 40 And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this [l]perverse generation.” Are we not living in the most perverse time of our lives as wrong or right and right is totally wrong? Look at lawlessness around the world and getting worse) 41 Then those who [m]gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. ( Let’s come and see God can rescue us from covid or any other disease when we are pricked in our hearts what we are doing is sin. Conviction make us and condemnation breaks our spirits. Let’s be sorry for our sins and ashamed, so we let God clean us up and give us a new life baptized in the Love of the Lord in Water and Spirit.) 42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ [n]doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. 43 Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. 44 Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, 45 and [o]sold their possessions and goods, and divided[p] them among all, as anyone had need. (Ministers are spiritual physicians. We want to see and desire to see people conscience be set free to do Gods will. We need the empowerment of the Holy Spirit to embolden us for ministry in the Kingdom of God. We need encouragement to bind up hope in God, as we repent. Repenting is changing of the mind and will, as we admit our wrongs. This happens when we are full of the Holy Spirit, sold out to God. Then we can see ourselves saved from this generation of lawlessness. Be free by being diligence to live for God. The Spirit brings the word of truth so we can work wonders in our world. It is a must we receive the Word gladly. They were baptized as they received the covenant of the baptism of fire of the Holy Spirit burning out all dross of woes!) 46 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added [q]to the church daily those who were being saved. (Continue daily in prayer, giving God thanks for loving us so we can love one another. That is being kind and thoughtful of one another. Frequently meeting for we have all thing is common coming to gather to feast upon the presence of the Lord as we celebrate victory again and again. God created us and owns us and want us to enjoy our tongue to tell of wonders and show signs of miracles. Lord help us to fear You so we can be favored by following Your love, mercy, grace and justice. The Question is how are you going to live? Who are you going to have faith and hope in? Where do you want to spend eternity with? |
