I have taught life skills at the Restitution Center for the last 5 years. The classes deal with conflict resolution, anger management, domestic violence, care of cares, achieving your potential, excellence, winners, overcoming addictions, death and dying, moral recognition therapy, the mind, abundant life, reducing conflict through trust building and change in a changing world. Those who are incarcerated bring anger, depression, anxiety, into the Restitution Center and I see many find the Lord. As they accept the Lord, He is able to deliver and set them free from any addiction of sin that robs one of victory.

Those who have read this web page see I cover many subjects, all of which is my opinion based upon what I feel the Bible says, is the truth. If at any time anyone feels I am not telling, or reporting the truth, please let me know. As I say, to our residents in jail, if at any time you hear me speak, understand that there may be a bone, or two, but please spit them out. We are living in the last days and there are many voices deceiving people. I am very mindful of the responsibility I have as a Minister/Chaplain with the Assemblies of God. I have sent this web site to friends, the General Council of the Assemblies of God, the Northwest District, Prisoners for Christ, & the State Critical Incident Stress Management Team and have received positive reports. This web site was designed for the purpose of keeping those incarcerated in the Yakima County Jails and released, informed in what I have taught, and am teaching presently.

It is a blessing to hear from people that have been blessed as they read this web site. I will work at improving and you can certainly help, as you give me feed back of your comments. I am also open for anything you might like to present to me, to share with others.

Rick Warren’s book the "Purpose Driven Life" is nothing new, but the way he wrote is very good. I was taught that God has a purpose for all of mankind as we read the Bible. Not only read it, but also "study it to show ourselves approved unto God a workmen that need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth". 2 Timothy 2:15 We are all ambassadors for Christ, that’s what we were taught growing up in the Assembly of God Church in Harrah as Ambassadors for Christ. For the Bible says, Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though Christ did beseech you by us, we pray you in Christ stead, be reconciled to God. 2 Corinthians 5:20. So the question I ask - who controls you? If God controls us, we are full of love, wanting to help all we can. If Satan, or man is controlling us, we are under a dictator and become full of bitterness and hate. Dealing with those who are incarcerated, many suffer from being dictators to their wives. We as men can’t afford to dictate to our wives, but love them as God loves the Church. Don’t we have the opportunity to make decisions based upon the truth, which allows us to work together for the good of all involved, rather in the home, the Church, or the Government?

We are not able to do what we want, but what does the Lord want for us. It seems like the contemporary life, and way, is forcing us into the same world we are living in and we do not see a change in life style, dress, music, or even what we drink and what we say. Contemporary means, "Belonging to the same period of time; current modern; one of the same time, or age; person of the present time". We see it in the world people doing their thing. It is a new age philosophy, since God is in me and God is in you, do what you will and please don’t tell me what to do and I will not tell you what to do! Every one doing their thing because God talked to me, this is the will of God. Where is the righteousness we read about in the Bible? Are we supposed to be separated from this evil world as lights, or are we the same as the world. Note Romans 1 tells us of how in these last days when we know God, we glorify Him not as God. Neither are we thankful, (maybe this is for those who have gone on before paying the price for our Churches to be built). But become vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God, into an image made like to corruptible man and to birds, and four footed beast, and creeping things. Wherefore God gave them up to uncleanness through the lust of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the creator, who is blessed for ever.

Barclay's Daily Study Bible (NT) says, What is the mark of the kingdom of this world? Is it, instead of looking out to God, he looked into himself? He involves himself in vain speculations, thinking he is wise, while all the time he is a fool. Why? He was a fool because he made his ideas, his opinions, his speculations the standard and the law of life, instead of the will of God. (Contemporary thinking) The sinner's folly consisted in making "man the master of things." He found his standards in his own opinions and not in the laws of God. He lived in a self-centered, instead of a God-centered universe. Instead of walking looking out to God, he walked looking unto himself and, like any man who does not look where he is going, he fell. 

Lord help us, never to want our way, but your way and will to be done, in all we do. It’s not my will, but thy will be done, oh Lord. We used to say, if the Lord wills, we will do this, or that, now we just do it; without any thought of whom we are representing.

Obedience and discipline are like two pots of Gold at the end of the rainbow, that is practicing Romans 12:1 & 2: "I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you can prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God."

I would like to assure any one that is going through a difficult time and they need help to please write me, phone me, or stop and talk to me at any time. I will not condemn, or try to correct you in any way. That is up to the Lord, but I’ll share with you what the Lord shares with me. We need to benefit one another in the Kingdom of God and that is the reason for this web page and going to the jails, witnessing to people about the love of the Lord. This is a time to encourage one another as never before.

I am not the answer, the Lord is the answer and if I know it is more than a spiritual problem, I can sure refer you to someone that can help.

Make sure you understand the power of the Church, for as you attend the Church and listen to the Pastor and become a part of the programs, you will become a stronger person in your walk with the Lord. The Bible says, do not forsake the assembling of yourself in the house of the Lord in these last day as the manner of some is.
