I certainly want all to know who read what I’ve written the Lord speaks to me and I am responsible for what I say. I am blessed and that is what I want to share with others as we study the Bible together. I hope your understanding more fully Ephesians 1:12 That we (Jews) (then us Gentiles) should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. That is the privilege we have as parents as we see our kids accomplishments in everyday life. Do we glory in the fact they are our kids, or that we are the parents?

J. Vernon McGee’s Thru The Bible said, “God does not exist to satisfy the whim and wish of the believer. The believer exists for the glory of God. When the believer is in the center of the will of God, he is living a life of fullness and of satisfaction and of joy. That will deliver you from the hands of psychologists, friend. But when you are not in the will of God, there is trouble brewing for you. Living in God’s will adds purpose and meaning to life: we are going to be for the praise of His glory.”

I believe what we do as Christians sets us apart from any of Gods creation and that is we choose, either to follow the Lord, or Satan. So what Adam Smith, the great economist, argued that the whole pattern of life was founded on what he called the division of labour. He meant that life can only go on when each man has a job and does that job, and when the results of all the jobs are pooled and become the common stock. The shoemaker makes shoes; the baker makes bread; the tailor makes clothes; each has his own job, and each sticks to his own job; and when each efficiently carries out his job the total good of the whole community follows.
What is true of individuals is true also of nations. Each nation has its part in God’s scheme of things. The Greeks taught men what beauty of thought and form is. The Romans taught men law and the science of government and administration. The Jews taught men religion. The Jews were the people who were so prepared that from them God’s Messiah should come.
—Barclay’s Daily Study Bible (NT)

Are we truly rejoicing in the Lord of Glory, as we trust in Jesus? Is sit not as we practice resting in God Grace by obeying, Phil 2:12-13 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Let’s not be lazy, but understand everyone has to decide for themselves, whom they are going to serve. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. That is commitment, and discipline of yourself, to the greatest degree, completely sold out to God experiencing Romans 12 1-2. Are we living sacrifices, or dead in our works? The Lord is looking for performance and it happens when we are blessed with the Spirit of God living in us, as we trust the Lord. Imagination, times vividness, equals reality, is the works that shows rather the Love of God is in operation in our lives. This is understanding the importance of obeying the Lord regardless of the cost. Let's sell out to the Lord, for He is the truth, the way, and the Life.
