My Father the Husbandman Part 1  E-mail

John 15:1-8

Jesus says, I am the true vine and my Father is the Husbandman.

As a Farmer this is one of my favorite passages for we see our

Father called the husbandman by His Son. A husbandman is one who

governs what happens, that’s the reason I liken God to the

Gentleman Farmer, one who owns all of what we see, even what we

are not able to see around us and is careful of how he deals with

what He has created.

The Husbandman provides every thing we need to become what he

intended us to be. He has blessed us by making sure we have water

to drink also to allow the plants to grow. He gives us the sun for

nourishment by day and the moon for shelter by night. He also

makes sure he has the equipment needed to complete the task of

making sure we grow into the person that will produce after our

kind. Christian Families find many times their kids grow up

understanding the Lord and when they get older they serve and

obey Jesus. God the Husbandmen created man form the dirt,

then soon afterward the women was created from the rib taken

from the man. She is to be protected and provided for by the

husband as the Husbandman cares for us all.

Since God owns us and knows exactly what we need, he is never

going to leave us, or forsake us, but we can forsake Him and

deny he is wanting to be our husbandman.  God cares for us,

and wants to make sure the ground is prepared to grow a crop.

He plows under all the old and turns up the good fertile soil,

then harrows it making sure the ground is soft and pliable, no

clods or rocks, that would cause the seed not to grow.  God knows

exactly how much fertilizer to apply so we have all the nutrients

needed to reach our potential.

God makes sure he as all the equipment needed, like plows,

harrows, cultivators, planters, ditchers for water, other water

sources, and harvesters.

God is a specialist in conservation of air and water. He knows

exactly how much moister we need and at the right time. Everyone

through out the earth has air and water that is given by God, We

have to breathe and drink from what God has supplied us with. We

do not need alcohol or drugs of any kind. God never runs out of

water or air, so we need to be careful of how we take care of

our water supply and the air which keeps us healthy.

He cares for his own household and is not willing that any

should suffer, so God protects us from harm and diseases. God

gives us the security needed for every circumstance as we abide

in the vine.

It is very important that we never get to that place where we want

to hide from God because of the wrong we have committeded.

Not only is God concerned with humans he is concerned for all

Plants and animal life. God is consistently renewing as a Farmer

all that we see, but mankind seems to destroy. God is a Personal

Person and His government was law in the Old Testament. If they

did not obey they suffered and did not enjoy the blessing of God.

John in the New Testament introduced God with the statement in

Matthew 3:2 “Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at Hand. It’s

still law, he rules and reign within His Kingdom as KING JESUS”.

When Jesus completed His testing in the wilderness while fasting

for 40 days, said in Matthew 4:17 Repent for the Kingdom of heaven is

at hand.

In His Prayer to the disciples, He told us to pray thy Kingdom Come

they will be Done. Matthew 6:9.

What is Gods Will? God created us different than all else, He created

us in His image. We are made in His Image just like Him. Genesis 1:27.

We have the power to choose. We are body, Soul and Spirit so we have

the capacity to sin. Adam and Eve sinned they saw, desired, took,

gave and Hid.
