Are you free from worry, or are you bound up with the cares of this life? Lets learn to accept Gods plan for our lives in order to bear the fruit of His Spirit. John 14:6 Jesus said, I am the way the Truth and the Life, no one comes to the Father but through me. What a statement of authority, that is the reason for wanting to pray, I do not have to, but want to. Anytime I go my own direction I seem to get hurt and need to follow the voice of the Lord, as He speaks to me.

Remember Eve talks to the serpent, Adam talked to the Lord, whom are you talking to? The women saw, desired, took, ate, and gave to Adam, then they both were ashamed, covering themselves with fig leaves and aprons, then hiding . Isn’t that what we do today, anytime we do something wrong? That is why it becomes necessary to take a true inventory of what we are doing that causes us shame.

Note God knows were we are at all times, but he wants us to know where He is. He’s at your heart knocking to come in sup and communicate with you, through prayer.

“Adam where are you?”

“Lord, I was afraid of you , for I was naked and I hid myself.”

God, “Who told you, you were naked? Did you eat of the fruit I told you not to?”

Adam responded with, “it’s the women whom you gave to me, she gave me of the fruit of the tree of life.” The Lord does not continue to address Adam but focuses his attention towards Eve.

God said to Eve, “what did you do?”

Eve, “the serpent beguiled me, or fooled me.”

Isn’t Satan still fooling men and women today, wanting us to be as God? Don’t we want the ability to do our thing, regardless of what others think, or do?  We hear people saying, “Don’t tell me.” “who do your think you are”, these type of statements come from people in authority, that prevent others from becoming empowered. Yes, we need authority that is submissive to the Lord, then every thing is done decently and in order. Lets make sure this day we are on guard to the tricks of the enemy, for he still has power to deceive man as the angle of light, he is.

Are you praying for guidance and power to resist Satan, that is not listening to him but to the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Remember who you are!
