16 These good things from God are not given to someone because he wants them or works to get them. They are given because of His loving-kindness. What a statement salvation, purity and holiness is not caused by what we do, it is cause by who we serve. It is God that has given us goodwill and peace. It seems the harder we work at being good and pleasant the harder it becomes, for we can’t be good. Then when I accept God He can help me become more and more like Him, so my relationship to God grows. That is the reason we are growing in grace, love and mercy of the Lords, not in the favor of mankind. To please God is the beginning of wisdom that comes from fearing God. God wants us to experience His Holy Spirit, so we are full of Godliness and sin can’t get in. The Holy Spirit was given so His Spirit could be with us all to empower us to wait, watch and see, so we see His glory in what we do and say that brings a satisfaction the Devil; Satan or all His demons can’t give. 17 The Holy Writings say to Pharaoh, “I made you leader for this reason: I used you to show My power. I used you to make My name known over all the world.” God raised Pharaoh up as a leader to test Moses. God allows leader to rule and reign, they are not always wanting good to happen, but like Pharaoh put Egyptian in charge of the Jews, so today look at all the nations against Israel God is still allowing. God is in control and is ready to show His power to rapture the Church and let the Jews and the world that does not believe go through 7 years of persecution. Now God let’s sinner do what every they want to and life has changed, is what News Personalities are saying. 18 So God has loving-kindness for those He wants to. He makes some have hard hearts if He wants to. God is not in the forcing business, He wants people to choose this day who they will serve. As for me and my house we will serve the Lord was Joshua thoughts. How about you, are you forced to be addicted to sins wrongs, our do you want to serve and follow the Lord. It is strange to see people with such hard hearts today that God is using to try people’s hearts. His mercy is always greater than the strongest hearts against Him. Gods grace is His to give and will not withhold His love from anyone that wants to seek Him for a better way, so they can get rid of bitterness that is destroy them and all the relationship they might have. People are thankful for following the Lord, people that are not following the Lord have only themselves to blame. God has promised to all who follow Him to be a blessing, those who do not can’t be a blessing to self and to others. Never forget God is merciful to those who seek His way, truth and life. 19 But you will ask me, “Why does God blame men for what they do? Who can go against what God wants?” It is not God that blames, we blame ourselves and it is seen in the low self-esteem many times we have for ourselves. When we blame someone else for or problems it seems like we automatically think we should be in control and we are not in control of others, it is either God, or Satan that is in control for we let them! 20 Who are you to talk back to God? A pot being made from, clay does not talk to the man making it and say, “Why did you make me like this?” Look at man we are feeble and weak and foolish, thinking we are gods. We need to let God talk to us by His Spirit that is all around us. For Nature shows us there is a power higher than ourselves. We can’t argue with or creator, any more than a cup, argue it is a cup regardless of its beauty or ugliness. We need to submit to God, for we are not responsible for no one, but ourselves. Nature is what God created it, so man is what God created and we need to abide in Him, so we can produce goodwill and peace, not war and arguing with our creator, for we are not created perfect. We are growing in our relationship that leads to a marriage. 21 The man making the pots has the right to use the clay as he wants to. He can make two pots from the same piece of clay. One can have an important use. The other one can be of little use. God is an awesome God, not one finger print alike, or ires alike, we are all different, but all have a body, with five senses, eyes, ears, mouth, nose and feeling; a soul with five senses Conscience, reason, memory, imagination and affections and a spirit with five senses, worship, reverence, faith, hope and prayer. These are all created by God to be used by us to serve and become like God and what we see is the world becoming more and more like our enemies; Satan. Gods sovereignty over us is seen by the Potter, has over the clay; Jeremiah 18:6 God has dominion over the Jews and yes even you and I. The only one we should compare ourselves to is Jesus for He does not make mistakes22 It may be that God wants to show His power and His anger against sin. He waits a long time on some men who are ready to be destroyed. God created one way, one vessel that was good, but Satan took good and made it ugly, God planted the tree of Knowledge of good and evil and said do not eat. Eve desired, took and gave and they both ate and hide from God. Man became a vessel of Gods wrath for God hates sin. It is a power of strength that affects our minds we are in control and doling our thing brings destruction and death from the glory of His power God blessed us all with choices; unless we repent and receive power of enablement it becomes a force for Godliness and holiness within us. God hands are out to help us, as He says come unto me and will give you rest from the sins of the world. 23 God also wanted to show His shining-greatness to those He has given His loving-kindness. He made them ready for His shining-greatness from the beginning. God endures with a great deal of longsuffering, that we might ourselves come to destruction and call upon the Lord. For God is always giving His loving kindnesses to mankind. He is full of mercy, love and grace, so we can bear forth good fruit. God extends His goodness, His glory to the Jews and the Church. What God does for them He does before preparing them to glory, God ordained us so we are glorified sanctified, redeemed as we abide in Him. We have our inheritance now, for God sent His Son Jesus to die for us as we die out to sin and become glorified, ordained and precious in His sight. 24 We are the ones He chose. He did not only choose Jews. He also chose some from among the people who are not Jews. We can destroy ourselves so quickly. But can’t save ourselves; we need Salvation that is provided by God. Sin fits us for hell and God prepares us for heaven, as we abide in Him. He called us and ordained us to be His Ambassadors in His Kingdom which is the family of Gods. 25 In the Book of Hosea He says, “Those who are not My people, I will call, ‘My people.’ Those who are not loved, I will call, ‘My loved ones.’” Hossa 1:10, 2:23 shows the Gentiles had not been the people of God for they did not own God, but I will call them my people, badness is no bar to God’s present grace and mercy. He loves those who He created and has called the Jews back to Israel as they became a nation in 1948. We saw God love for Israel that was renewed as they became a nation without firing a shot. 26 “And where it said, ‘You are not my people,’ they will be called sons of the living God.” No one controls our world other than God and His way is being heralded around the world by the Church. 27 Isaiah says this about the Jews, “Even if there are as many Jews as the sand by the sea, only a few of them will be saved from the punishment of sin. Note Isiah 10:22 and 23 show God preserving of a remnant from the destruction and desolation that was coming upon them from Sennacherib and his army.28 For the Lord will do on earth what He says in His Word. He will work fast when He says what will happen here.” What God began He will end in judgement, or mercy. Reject God and suffer ruin, accept God and enjoy life everlasting, is still His promise to all of mankind, Jews and Gentiles. In the Old Testament it seemed like it took a long time before God gave us His son, now it seems like a long time before He comes. God is the Lord of the Sabaoth. Or the Lord of Host James 5:4 say all the host of heaven and earth are at His beck and disposal. Gods people are like seeds a small number, but a useful number for the well-being of the next generation. It is because of the seed we can expect to not perish for the Gentleman Farmer God know what all we need, so we do not all perish, but have everlasting life now. God does not deal with us according to our sins for they cause us to perish, He deals with us because of our righteousness which the Bible teaches us from beginning to end. God loves to see us obey Him for we love Him. 29 Isaiah said also, “If God had not left some of the Jews, we would have all been destroyed like the people who lived in the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah.” Thank the Lord He loves who He has created and has provided a way for us to know the truth in life’s journey. So we are on the way and not in the way as a stumbling block. 30 What are we to say about these things? The people who are not Jews were not made right with God by the Law. They were made right with God because they put their trust in Him. Here Paul is wrapping up his thoughts and showing how the Jews rejected the truth and how important it is for all to accept the truth including now the Gentile. We have the ability to think and choose what we do with God and the Jews were not made right by the laws for they did not obey as they had several gods they worshipped. It was faith in the law of God that was needed it is still faith in God that is needed in our world today. It is not embracing a law it is embracing Gods personal love mercy and grace by what we do with our faith.31 The Jews tried to be right with God by obeying the Law, but they did not become right with God. No law will save us justification will not save, being holy will not save, being a good person will not save, it is only believing that Jesus died and gave His life that you and I can abide in Him, becoming like Him 32 Why? Because they did not put their trust in God. They tried to be right with God by working for it. They tripped over the most important Stone (Christ). Lord help us to know the reason for not accepting your love, mercy and grace. Not to question why, for we will never know why the child ask so many questions, or why the chicken crossed the road, or the reason some make it to heaven and some do not. Lord help us to submit to Your way, truth and life, for we are living in Your home; this planet earth. Lord help us to be full of the Holy Spirit, so we have fruit that is good for all to see. 33 The Holy Writings say, “See! I put in Jerusalem a Stone that people will trip over. It is a Rock that will make them fall. But the person who puts his trust in the Rock (Christ) will not be put to shame.” Lord help us to see the speck in our eyes, so we can see the planks that are there to rob us of victory again and again. Help us to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, so the fire can enlighten us to sticks and stones that trip us up, causing us to be ashamed of who we are. Let us see the rock to build from Gods way, truth and life. It is never our way, truth and life for it is going to crumble and never make it to heaven, but be punished in hell for every. Now is the time to give God your life, to do with what He pleases so you can be assured your apart of the Kingdom of God in action, behavior and attitude! |
