The Signs of the Times and the End of the Age Matthew 24 3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” 4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for [a]all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, [b]pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.Every day, 13 Christians worldwide are killed because of their faith. Every day, 12 churches or Christian buildings are attacked. And every day, 12 Christians are unjustly arrested or imprisoned, and another 5 are abducted. So reports the World Watch List (WWL), the latest annual accounting from Open Doors of the top 50 countries where Christians are the most persecuted for following Jesus. “You might think the [list] is all about oppression. … But the [list] is really all about resilience,” stated David Curry, president and CEO of Open Doors USA, introducing the report released today. “The numbers of God’s people who are suffering should mean the Church is dying—that Christians are keeping quiet, losing their faith, and turning away from one another,” he stated. “But that’s not what’s happening. Instead, in living color, we see the words of God recorded in the prophet Isaiah: ‘I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert’” (Isa. 43:19, ESV). The listed nations contain 309 million Christians living in places with very high or extreme levels of persecution, up from 260 million in last year’s list. Another 31 million could be added from the 24 nations that fall just outside the top 50—such as Cuba, Sri Lanka, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE)—for a ratio of 1 in 8 Christians worldwide facing persecution. This includes 1 in 6 believers in Africa and 2 out of 5 in Asia. Thank the Lord for revival that is also present that give people hope in God and they do not fight or become defiant but gladly accept what they are going through. This is being able to accept the fact the Lord is in control for their spirits are already for the Lord blessing. How much longer do we have on planet earth is known only to God and I want to encourage you all to Pray for Ben Dulany and His wife and family that they will have that burden from our area that people will be attracted to the Spirit of God. Ginny and I will be praying for you all that you will grow in your relationship to God and one another. Ben is not me, but He is a child of the Lord wanting to be accepted as your pastor, so he can be free to minister to all who are members and those who are in need of help in our area. I hope you will open up to Pastor Ben and be supportive in our attendance and prayer, so the Harrah Assembly of God becomes a great lighthouse than ever before. No One Knows the Day or Hour 36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of [f]heaven, but My Father only. 37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Noah was a man of faith for all he did was obey Gods direction without question. He never saw rain, he never saw a boat and yet God talk to him to build a boat. The world was as wicked as it could possibly be. Sons of God Saw daughter of me that they were fair and took wives of all they chose. God said y spirit will not always strive with man Gin 6:3 There where Giants in the earth and the daughters of men and they bare Children of renown. God saw the wickedness of man was great and their imagination of their heart evil continually. The Lord said I will destroy man whom I have created for I repent I have made them. 6 Chapter verse 8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. the 13 verse say Behold I will destroy them with the earth. Noah make a Ark of gopher wood and pitch it within and without pitch. Look people saw what Noah was building but did not want to know the reason why. Does that surprise you do people care to day God is getting ready to take us home to heaven? No people do not want to obey God but completely deny the truth. Evil is killing thousands and who cares. It was big enough to take all male and female animals with food for all. God said come now get into the ark in 7 day I will cause it to rain for forty days and nights and it will destroy all from the face of the earth. It took 150 days to dry up. He in Chapter 8:20 shows Noah builds an altar for burnt offerings and verse 21 says and the Lord Smells a sweet savor; and the Lord said, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth, neither will I again smite any more everything living as I have Done. 40 Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. 42 Watch therefore, for you do not know what [g]hour your Lord is coming. 43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known what [h]hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. 44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. The Faithful Servant and the Evil Servant 45 “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food [i]in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. 47 Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods. 48 But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying [j]his coming,’ 49 and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, 50 the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of,51 and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. I hope your doing all you can to trust and obey the Lord for we are seeing our world in the grip of Satan and the Anti- Christ is getting ready to show his strength in Religion in control of the one world government and the one world Economic System. The Bible gives us a picture of how important religion is to any Government that need economic. We are seeing it and we need to practice what we preach so we are not deceive by the tricks of Satan who is out like a roaring Lion seeking who he may devour. So make sure you stay of the offence and abide in the vine; Jesus so you can bear good will and peace so your able to pray for you enemies to become like the Lord. Blessing to you and never forget who you are and who created you for His pleasure? This is the last time I will be posting from the Harrah Assembly of God as we are moving to north Yakima as we have resigned The Church and looking forward to attending a Church close to where we reside. I hope to continue to post and use the internet as much as can to get the message out Jesus saves and wants you to accept His love mercy and grace, so you can live in Justice all the days of your life! |
