I listen to many sermons and John Piper is one. His message on Desiring God-Fight for Joy was very good, sent to me by our son Mike Campfield. So as I listened I took my own notes and used the Bible as a guide also for what I am writing. Ever since July 25 of this year when I got dehydrated then had a Covid test and it was positive I have not be able to do anything, but rest and listen to ministers to keep my faith which seem to not have any Joy for our Joy comes from doing the Lord will and since I was handicap with Covids Symptoms I could not taste food, nor have any energy to work at anything but resting. Then July 21 the Lord restored my desire to work for the Joy of the Lord is our strength and I knew it by what I was able to do before Surgery with a UROLIFT a proven approach to treating enlarged prostate by Doctor Lauer August 23. Which is getting better and better as Doctor Jesus does the healing. Doctors cut, God does the healing for which we have seen many times. So as I write to you today I am rejoicing in the glory of the Lord as my strength. I desire God and know we have to have faith to fight the giants of our lives with the Help of the Lord. 
 
Desiring God-Fight for Joy
 
What is your heart and mind thinking about God or Satan? Are they a thousand mile apart, or the same? We are Christ Ambassadors for the Kingdom of God, so we are on a mission showing and displaying Joy of the Lord. Philippians 1:22-25 New King James Version ²² But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor; yet what I shall choose I ^[a]cannot tell. ^23 [b]For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. ²⁴ Nevertheless to remain in the flesh is more needful for you. ²⁵ And being confident of this, I know that I shall remain and continue with you all for your progress and joy of faith. Are we living in the flesh which is sinful, or are we progressing in the joy of our faith in God? I want to make sure I am advancing using the faith God gave us all, to live in the joy of the Lord. 2 Corinthians 1:24 “Not that we ^[a]have dominion over your faith, but are fellow workers for your joy; for by faith you stand”. Here Paul is telling us we do not have dominion, or power over our faith. Can you see it is not our faith it is Gods, given to us, so we are full of the joy of the Lord to see Gods grace in giving us Goodwill and peace!
1. What are you aiming to do with your life? What’s the reason you don’t do what is goodwill for peace of mind? Do you want breath, wealth and health? Yes, But God give us joy to live as we abide in the Lord, regardless of our emotions and feeling. It is not my well, but Gods will be done. We are living in a dangerous world with lawless abounding and circumstances around us is robing many of the joy of the Glory of the Lord. 
2. I am not on a mission to make you happy, I am on a mission to show you how the Bible will help us, as we decide to seek God and take great delight in how He give us the joy of the Lord. We are not saved by ourselves, but by choosing to follow the Lord. It is God’s sovereign will, as we trust and obey God. It is His Spirit that draws us and compels us to connect with His way, truth and life. It is a miracle given to all that call upon the Lord to forgive us of the wages of sin of death. God wants us to not waste time, but call upon Him know, that we can then delight in the Lords love, mercy, grace and justice.

3. I am not an Ambassador to make you happy above Gods glory, or will. It is totally God that loves our world and wants to satisfy every longing of our body, soul and spirit. We do not seek wealth, health and joy, but God and He fills us up with His Holy Spirit.
4. I am not an Ambassador to make you even feel good about your Self Esteem. But here to make you feel Good about Gods greatness, as we forget about ourselves. Let’s be happy in Gods Glory, majesty and justice as we accept His love of the truth, giving us power to be an overcomer to resist lusting for evil. Look at Gods creation in nature and what man is able to do, is not as wonderful as what God created for us to enjoy, like the Grand Canyon and other wonders of the world.  Are you seeing Gods mirror on earth and rejoicing at all his wonder? For when we get to heaven we will not need mirrors for we will arrive at perfection. We have telescopes that see space like never before, showing how big our world really is God created. What a wonder He made man to discover His mystery of being born again by His telescope of the Holy Spirit.
We all have Foundational Questions. Are you desiring God, or God’s Passion for His Glory? What’s the reason, He put the tree of knowledge of Good and evil in the Garden of Eden? Was it not to test man? Are we not being tested as never before today to know the value of the truth, way and life, found in serving the Lord? God wants to display His Glory.
Let’s look at Isaiah 43:6-7 New King James Version ⁶ I will say to the north, ‘Give them up! ’And to the south, ‘Do not keep them back!’ Bring My sons from afar, And My daughters from the ends of the earth—⁷ Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.” God created us all and He gave us all dirt to grow food and delight in for His glory. We are forgiven by His glory, not man’s glory. How do you handle self? Is God great to forgive us of sins when we commit them? Yes! When we see what He came to do, save us from our sins, He convicts us off. How do you see yourself in the mirror is the outward you, but God uses a Telescope for He sees your heart? 
It is Blasphemy to think we can magnify self over Gods will. The world is watching you to see Gods glory. How do you handle yourself? Is God great? Yes, He forgive and forgets. Isaiah 43:25 “I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; And I will not remember your sins. We are forgiven for Gods glory as Matthew 6:9-10 say, ⁹ In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. ¹⁰ Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven”. Remember God created us in His image, so we could show Christs love in us as we love people. His name is holy, pure, and righteous. We are set apart valuable one of a kind- Magnificent like what we see from a telescope!
1 Peter 4:11 ^“If anyone speaks, let him speak as the ^[a]oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the ^[b]dominion forever and ever. Amen.”
 It is God’s will- His Spirit that empowers us to be like Him, we can’t, we need the love of the Lord to convict us, not man! The more we try the worse life gets!
Ephesians 1:11 ^“ In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,” We have an inheritance according to the Purpose of God, that’s the reason we work at our salvation with fear and trembling. It is for His glory, not ours at all.
Did Jesus die for us, or did He(Jesus) die for Gods sake? Remember on the cross He said, not My well but, Your will be done. 
Isaiah 48:9-11 “For My name’s sake I will ^[a]defer My anger, And for My praise I will restrain it from you, So that I do not cut you off. ¹⁰ Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction. ¹¹ For My own sake, for My own sake, I will do it; For how should My name be profaned? And I will not give My glory to another.”
Love is really love when we dedicate and discipline ourselves to living for His glory. Not ours! Do you live forself and want your way, or are you in Love with God and want to please Him as He gave you life, by shedding His blood at Calvary? Forgiveness, justification, redemption, reconciliation is Gods gifts to all that call upon God for forgiveness, for God Loves us and gave us His Son Jesus, and Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit to empower us to live as Ambassadors in the Kingdom of God. Let’s not exalt Self, But lift up the Name of Jesus, Gods, Son in all we do and say. 
Remember who you are? It is God working in Us for He is bent on Self Exaltation, as He imparts and empower us to love him and the world we live in, so we are enabled to lift the Name of Jesus higher and higher!
