Paul in Chapter 7 explained the doctrine of justification and showed the power of Sanctification that keeps us pure and holy as we abide in the Lord will. Now he is showing the minister as helpers of the joy of the Saints. It is God will that His Children are comforted and have the privilege of seeing people saved coming into a relationship with the Lord. This is a well spring of joy of Gods comfort to our souls’ all is well living or dying, we will see three things in this chapter that proves our salvation. 1. We are privileged 8:1-28 2. The grounds laid in predestination 8:29,30. 3. The Apostle’s triumph in the name of all the saints 8:31-39 That is what brings us together in the family of God’s.
Romans 8 New King James Version (NKJV)
But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.What a contrast between the flesh and the Spirit of a man or women for they are different as day is from night. A man can be in love with drinking, smoking, drugs and lusting for sex and completely overcome by it. I have seen this since a student in the Schools of White Swan and in my life working in the woods, farming, ministry, child care, chaplaincy and now as a minister in Harrah, WA. People seem to like to be controlled by evil more than abiding in the loving arms of the outstretched hands of God who is saying, come follow me I will give you peace and that is the ability to rest and relax in what God has in His store house for you. Who are you dwelling with, who rules your life? Who keeps you house clean? 10 And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.  Life is not being negative, under condemnation, but a positive experience full of the joy of the Lord that is unspeakable and full of glory. Remember we are all made of dust and that is dirt, that is ugly yet look at what it produces? You!  We are no longing satisfying the flesh, but the Spirit while the natural man can’t get beyond the wickedness of the body. It is the Spirit that empowers us to serve the Lord, for He imputed to us a healthy self-image we are OK! We see the fruits of the spirit in operation and it make us feel accepted in the Beloved. 11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies [d]through His Spirit who dwells in you. But; if God dwells in us we have the ability to rise from the death of sins hold on us as the Lord hands are working on us, molding and melting us into His image so we are now controlled by the mighty power of the Lord. Just as Christ is seated at the right hand of God so we are seated in His loving arms as becoming holier every day. We are the temples of the Holy Spirit of God that is rebuilt and many times repaired as we walk with the Lord by faith.
Sonship Through the Spirit
12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. Thank the Lord we are alive as long as we understand we are in debt to the Lord for what He has done and continues to do as we abide in Him being productive.13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 1. We are debtors to the flesh, we have to breath and eat, work and sleep or we will die, lets be glad and rejoice for we are alive obeying the will of the Lord not in selfish pursuits but taking care of the necessities of life. 2. Note the consequences of the end results of obeying God or not. Do you want to be a curse or blessing is up to who you following and serving. We need to mortify this body and that is stop doing evil things. Don ‘t let the mind deceive you mortify the deeds of the bodies lust for things. Keep in touch with the Lord stay connected. Learn to not please the body but please the Soul by staying fixed to your source of strength. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.  Who are we the property of determines what your mind really wants. God needs to be our guide in these troubled times. We are not to be driven as beast but lead by the master Shepherd so we always have green pastures of plenty as Sons of God in His family. What. a privilege to know we are children of Gods and He cares for us in every area of life. We did not choose Him, He choose us and ordained us to go and bring forth good fruit. He wants us to grow up and become mature so the flesh is always submitting to Gods will.  15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba,[e] Father.”Thank the Lord we are not enslaved by the flesh but the spirit of God to were we can say ABBA; my Father;very personal. We manage a Group home in LA County for Holly Groove Los Angles orphans Society one of the oldest started by the Presbyterian Church in Holly Wood Ca. which gave us a clue to what it is like to be adopted. It is hard for the simple no one can take the place of Mom or Dad. That is the reason the Department of Children services has such a terrible time with adoptions. Lord help us to realize You’re our Father that created us and wants us to abide in Him so our temple is able to feel good about where we are and what we are doing to bring honor and praise to our Father God. Lord help me to accept my adoption papers and grown in love with You and all Your children.

Romans 7 New King James Version (NKJV) We will see our freedom from the law as we press on to sanctification 7:1-6; the excellency and usefulness of the law from Paul’s own experience. 7:7-14 Then a description of the conflict between grace and corruption in the heart 7:14-25.
Freed from the Law
Or do you not know, brethren (for I speak to those who know the law), that the law [a]has dominion over a man as long as he lives? It is strange we need laws to be obeyed if we are going to have order in societies around the world. We are seeing today lawlessness increasing to where anything goes. The truth is a lie and a lie is the truth.  For the woman who has a husband is bound by the law to her husband as long as he lives. But if the husband dies, she is released from the law of her husband. The man and women were created by God to replenish the earth as they became married. This is the reason God created the women so man could have someone to confine in and appreciate talking to have communication with in a relationship that was full of love toward one another in the greatest sense. Love is not outside of marriage it is within Marriage as man and women have affection by actions and deeds.  So then if, while her husband lives, she marries another man, she will be called an adulteress; Lord help us to see the importance of marriage for it is a binding agreement regardless of the circumstance until one or the other passes away.  but if her husband dies, she is free from that law, so that she is no adulteress, though she has married another man. This is not only for the sake of the women, but the man as will, for God wants us to know something we can’t control death is in the hands of the Lord. When death happens to any married person they are free again to marry under the watchfulness of the Lord. Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another—to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God. Thank the Lord for the fact that God created us so we can have a relationship with Him that is very personal, holy and pure, so we can have a healthy attitude about what is going on at all times, for He never leaves us or forsakes us.  For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were aroused by the law were at work in our members to bear fruit to death. Our carnal state is the one we have before conversion and our imaginationruns wild, for our consciencesis seared and we do not care what we do our who we hurt. The memorycan’t grasp reality that is true and wholesome as our reasoncan remember who we are which affect our affection to have relationships that are functional and beneficial to all. The carnal person has no faith-hope, no one to worship and reverence so prayer is not a assist and not heard for the sins prevent our prayers from being answered. Sin is real and we embrace it by loving evil by being devoted to it and care to make sure we please the natural man. Lust, is having conceived by the law, which is the strength of sin. 1 Corinthians 15:26 Sin bringeth forth sin and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. This is what happens in many marriages to sin and the law. This comes when sin is working in our lives. This continues while the law is alive and we are alive to the law. Our. Second marriage is to Christ we are free to the law of sin and death and do not look to become satisfied in the lust of the eyes, ears, nose, mouth or touch.  But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter. Thank the Lord we are delivered from the Law as the Lord is the one we are married to and want to please so we are always connected to the vine to produce good fruit of goodwill and peace. We are obligated to God, His Son and the Holy Spirit to become empowered to serve Him and obey Him. The law becomes Gods chosen ones who He has called to the marriage of the Lamb as they open their hearts to Him. He gave His life so we can have a new life full of His grace, love and mercy to sanctify us keeping us pure and holy. We are in a new yoke where the Lord is able to carry the Load we have to carry. What a privilege to be married to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, as we enter upon this new life born into Gods family. Now we are able to produce fruit unto God bearing godly seeds in every work we set out to do. Fruits of Righteousness, good works from a new nature as we are connected to the root of the vine. This is without controversy as one of the greatest mystery’s of all times. That we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter being married to a new husband that. give us the ability to change our ways. It is as we serve we become stronger and stronger to obey and accept the freedom from the addictions of sin. Luke 1:74-75 He promised that we would be saved from those who hate us and that we might worship Him without being afraid. Luke 1:75 New Life Version (NLV)
75 We can be holy and right with God all the days of our life.
2 Corinthians 3:3 New Life Version (NLV)
You are as a letter from Christ written by us. You are not written as other letters are written with ink, or on pieces of stone. You are written in human hearts by the Spirit of the living God.
2 Corinthians 3:6 New Life Version (NLV)
God is the One Who made us preachers of a New Way of Worship. This New Way of Worship is not of the Law. It is of the Holy Spirit. The Law brings death, but the Holy Spirit gives life.
What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.” The Law is holy, just and good for all. Laws are as the lawmakers are. God is the law maker so He is always good so His law is good. It is holy and commands holiness, encourages holiness for it is the originator of Holiness, it is just and reasonable to all! It was given for the good of mankind to have peace and order in the world. It is true grace for the laws are holy and just for all. It is spiritual so our souls can thrive and achieve our potential. Hebrews 4:12 It is the discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
As the straight discovers the cooked so the mirror shows us the natural face with all it spots and wrinkles and deformities, so there is no way of coming to the knowledge of sin which is necessary for repentance, to peace and pardon, but by comparing our lives with the law. It is necessary to see lust means sin dwells in us. Eve Saw, Desired, Took and gave and they both had to hide from God. To covet is to desire, or want what. God said is not good. Men and women are blind to sin in the natural man, sin is corruption, evil and a lie until God shed the light, sin never changes. That the reason the law is a school master to bring us to Christ and opens the wounds so it can become healed.
But sin, taking opportunity by the commandment, produced in me all manner of evil desire. For apart from the law sin was dead. Sin can’t change for sin is always missing the mark. We are seeing people try to classify sin and one greater than the other and God calls sin; sin.  Could this be people love sinning and seem to like being addicted to it, for they do not want to stop but continue to be insane becoming dead to it’s consequences.

My Thoughts from the Coalition Meeting in White Swan Wa at the High School Gym
Contributed by Jerral Campfield
Saturday, 30 June 2018

There is a right and wrong and it is the wrong that is killing the ability to communicate in such a way as to become better so we do not get bitter with the past present or future. I saw this today Tuesday 26that 10 am to 4 pm at the Coalition meeting at White Swan were two Indian ladies seem to feel like they were the only ones that had a testimony of something good that was happening and they suffered the most. Yes. they were passionate about what they went through living on the reservation that is full of wrongs and yet they felt like they had more truth than anyone else and took charge of the meeting at the last. I had to leave because of another appointment.
We wonder what can be done for our Youth and children to give them the ability to be civil and productive as citizens? It seems like many where in agreement it is going to take a united effort by parents, schools and the community to make sure we respect accountability for our actions and attitudes as citizens. We have an overbearing evil with Drugs, alcohol, suicide, bullying, sexual deviancy, and dysfunctional parenting combine to destroy the good mental health of our children and youth now and in the future.
We were told there is no right or wrong and we need to be patient with grace and understand before responding. Yet wanting everyone to participate in the task with questions even tough ones.
This all sounds good, I say help us to understand if we do not know the difference between right and wrong we are not going to solve any problems, but make thing worse to where everyone becomes disappointed, expecting Government to intervene. Government is by the people for the people not by government for people. We are seeing lawlessness right here in our area when someone can be arrested 70 times and still being free to be arrested again. Something is wrong. We need one law that all can agree with regardless of tradition, culture, race or religious persuasion.
