This Sunday I will be speaking on the subject, “Behold it is I” as we look at what is going on in Israel today in light of eternity. God is going to deliverer Israel regardless of what their neighbors might do. God does not need any help in taking care of what goes on in our world. As we look at Isaiah we see him as an evangelist that has a message of hope. We are getting ready for the take over of our world by an anti Christ very soon and we need to understand, Behold it is I; that is God, is present to provide and protect His own.Isaiah 52:1-15 (NKJV)1 Awake, awake! Put on your strength, O Zion; Put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city! For the uncircumcised and the unclean Shall no longer come to you. God knows how to take care of His Church and the nation of Israel and we are seeing first hand His might power to Israel and those who are willing to die for the sake of the gospel of Christ during the tribulation. 2 Shake yourself from the dust, arise; Sit down, O Jerusalem! Loose yourself from the bonds of your neck, O captive daughter of Zion! Yes it is going to be great to shake off the past and move into the next arena of life as we enter the millennial time zone of a 1,000 years of peace. 3 For thus says the Lord: "You have sold yourselves for nothing, And you shall be redeemed without money." God has given us a free gift of salvation as we accept His rule for our lives. That is obeying His commandments and accepting His blessedness of life. 4 For thus says the Lord God: "My people went down at first Into Egypt to dwell there; Then the Assyrian oppressed them without cause. Remember Exodus 6:1-7 how the Lord was the one that made it all possible as He choose Moses to lead them out of bondage.5 Now therefore, what have I here," says the Lord, "That My people are taken away for nothing? Those who rule over them Make them wail," says the Lord, "And My name is blasphemed continually every day. God does not like His name to be blasphemed in any way and will bring judgment upon those who do and we are seeing this in the Middle East.6 Therefore My people shall know My name; Therefore they shall know in that day That I am He who speaks: “Behold, it is I.” People are seeing and knowing the name of God. I am the one that is speaking, I am God, it is I. He first lead them out of Egypt and here again He is leading them out of bondage of their neighbors. 7 How beautiful upon the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news, Who proclaims peace, Who brings glad tidings of good things, Who proclaims salvation, Who says to Zion, "Your God reigns!" Do you not think that everyone is watching Israel, as everyone seems to be against them? God is beginning to scream out, be careful of what you’re believing for there are many telling lies and people are accepting wrong as right and right as wrong. |

Does the Bible Matter in the 21st Century? |

I thought this was very good food for thought what do you think? Does the Bible Matter In the 21st Century? By Vishal Mangalwadi Published April 13, 2011 AP In his quest to change oppressive regimes in Afghanistan and Iraq, President George W. Bush argued, “Everyone desires freedom.” True. Everyone also desires a happy marriage: can everyone therefore have one? Afghanistan, Iraq, Ivory Coast, and Libya ought to teach secular ideologues that freedom does not flow from the barrel of a gun. Nor does it flourish in every culture. Why do most American presidents place a hand on the Bible to take the oath of office? Secular education has made that a meaningless tradition, but the tradition exists because the Bible is the secret of America’s freedom. Forget the Bible and America will go the way of the first Protestant nation – Nazi Germany. Plato saw Greek democracy first hand and condemned it as the worst of all political systems. That’s why the spread of the Greek culture, called "Hellenization," did not stir a struggle for democracy. In AD 798, the English scholar Alcuin summed up the then European wisdom to Emperor Charlemagne: “And those people should not be listened to who keep saying the voice of the people is the voice of God, since the riotousness of the crowd is always very close to madness.” Indeed, the voice of a corrupt people is often the devil’s voice. The cancer at the heart of America’s political economy is cultural. This great nation was built by an ethic – a spirituality that taught citizens to work, earn, save, invest, and use their wealth to serve their neighbors. This biblical ethic has been replaced by secularism’s entitlement culture that teaches people that they have a right to this, that and the other without corresponding obligations to work, save, and serve. This new culture forces the state to take from productive citizens or borrow from other nations and spend it on man-made rights. This corruption of character is destroying the world’s greatest economy, but can democracy allow leaders to go against the voters’ voice? The people’s voice began to be honored as God’s voice only because the sixteenth century biblical Reformation began saturating the hearts and minds of the people with the Word of God. Those who prayed, “Your kingdom come, your will be done in Scotland (or England, or Holland)” found the grace to free themselves from the tyranny of men. Not just Islamic, but every culture that rejects the kingdom of God condemns itself to be ruled exclusively by sinful men. Almost everyone desires a happy marriage, but without the Bible, America cannot even define, let alone sustain marriage as one man–one woman, exclusive, and life-long relationship. The West became great because biblical monogamy harnessed sexual energy to build strong families, women, children, and men. Human history knows no force other than the Bible that has the capacity to dam sexual energy to build powerful families and nations. Indeed, no non-biblical culture has ever been able to require husbands to “love your wives” and give them the spiritual resources to do so. If there is every a time when we need to choose truthful friends it is today, for our societies has been taught to be bent on playing god? That is what we get for not teaching morals and taking the Bible out of our homes, churches and schools of America. Yes we have more Bibles in our homes but how many are read and studied so we can be good workmen that need not be ashamed. As I go into the Farm house restaurant in Harrah I see people that are bent on doing what they want to, say what they want to, and being very opinionated on human desires. Fellowship is good but not always healthy, I am glad for the witness of the Holy Spirit in my life that allows me to stand up for the truth as I do not bend and break under the rule of the enemy of our souls. Has given us many friends and we do not take that lightly, for they are the ones that know how to pray and give to us and for our Church. It is amazing what friends are able to do to lift one another up in the Spirit of the Lord. John here 90 plus years old had these kinds of friends and Gauis is one. I will center my Message this Sunday April the 2nd on 3 John 1-8
3 John Hospitality-Sincerity, Loveable!Vs 1 Gauis= Was a friend who was sincere, loveable, able to over look differences. Faithful, Hospitable, Good steward in Gods household of His manifold grace. Notice I love him in the truth! He had a Healthy body; eyes, ears, touch, taste, and a good smell. His soul; imagination, reason, memory, affection and conscience was center around the Lord will not his. Then his spirit; Faith, hope, reverence, worship and prayer was always toward the Lord. This made him a child of the Lords and John benefited greatly.
Vs 2 John wants all to prosper-be in good health-even as your soul prospers=Imagination-Memory-Reason- Conscience and Affection. When one is full of prides ambition, they love to have preeminence over other, and become dictators. Pastors are not at liberty to lord it over Gods children. Moses was chosen by God to lead, not force the children of Israel.Vs 3 Do we have the joy of the Lord? What kind of image do you have? Are we walking in the truth? 1 Thess 2:19-20 19 For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Is it not even you in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming? 20 For you are our glory and joy. Heb 12:11 (NKJV) 11 Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. Vs 4 No greater joy then to see others walk in truth. Prov 11:30 (NKJV) The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who wins souls is wise. Dan 12:3 (NKJV) 3 Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness, Like the stars forever and ever. 1 Cor 9:19-23 (NKJV) 9 For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win the more; 20 and to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law, that I might win those who are under the law; 21 to those who are without law, as without law (not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ ), that I might win those who are without law; 22 to the weak I became as weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. 23 Now this I do for the gospel's sake, that I may be partaker of it with you. |
