Indifference is a word that kills affection; itís a low value of others. It causes one to distrust, and it always leads to the negative side of life. It also builds fear to where we are doubting who we are and what we are? We begin to doubt others, canít trust no one. We ask God who He is? So we alienate ourselves from God, then one another. It is impossible to love God, while we alienate ourselves from others. God Loves the World we are to Love our neighbors as we do ourselves. We chose to become indifferent to God and one another, or even to things; even through experience it tells us we shouldnít. We have got to work overtime to build trust in the world we are living in, and that is having confidence in others and their abilities.

Webster describes trust as Itís a firm reliance on the integrity, ability, or character of a person or thing; confident belief; faith. Itís the person or thing in which confidence is placed. Itís custody; care. Itís something committed into the care of another; a charge. The Condition and resulting obligation of having confidence placed in one. Itís reliance on something in the future, hope. Itís reliance on the intentions and ability of a purchase to pay in the future; credit. In law terms itís a legal title to property held by one party (the trustee) for the benefit of another (the beneficiary). Itís the right of the Beneficiary to the property.

As a man or women our trust is in God. Psalms 71:5  For You are my hope, O Lord GOD; You are my trust from my youth.

Psalms 141:8 But my eyes are upon You, O GOD the Lord; In You I take refuge;
Do not leave my soul destitute.

1 Timothy 6:20 Ė 21 (KJV) O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: 21 Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.

Trust drives away fear and we have more fear to day that any time in our history as Americans, terror on every side. Is 12:1-3 (KJV)   1 And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me. 2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. 3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

Life Changing Direction Part 3

Today we are seeing many who are in the news media giving information based upon their opinions, it is causing people to have differences of opinions and the truth is very hard to establish for the love of God is not demonstrated in them. If we are going to have the power needed to live this Christian life, we need to understand our faith is eternal.  Matthew 25:38 - 45. 38 'When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 'Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?' 40 "And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.' 41 "Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 'for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; 43 'I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.' 44 "Then they also will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?' 45 "Then He will answer them, saying, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.' 46 "And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

In the Church today we are seeing many times large attendance, souls getting saved, but the people are not becoming grounded in the Word. One of the reasons I feel is we are not understanding life is eternal, either heaven or hell.  John 6:27 says, "Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him."
