Here we have all been through the fire at some time or other, I hope it makes you pure and stronger than ever. If we do not learn from the fire we are destroyed by it Anytime we do not obey the law of how to handle fire we are going to suffer. No one is exempt fire treat us according to how we respect it. Note 9 These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power. Note we all suffer when we do something wrong and are punished for it, by the consequence of our sin/crime. No one can say they have not made a mistake and not sinned, we are all sinners saved by Gods grace, not mans grace. There is nothing like a person presence who is holy and righteous, for it builds one up. But the presence of evil is just as real and makes one feel very uncomfortable. Lord might we know the power of the presence of God to where we want to obey your words spoken to us now. There are so many voices today with in the Church and it is very difficult to understand where people are coming from because everyone wants to make life easy and quick. It is a mistake to think you can get satisfaction and u don’t have to wait any more, every one is doing it now. Look at the gambling casino, pornography on the internet, the amount of violence on play stations and in our communities. It seems like we have taken off all the holds and nothing is bared anymore. We are seeing a grumbling of power as never before and many people are hurting beyond measure. How much more can we take is often said today. Could it be we are ready to see the babe of Christmas come to give us the gift of gifts eternal life right now as He removes us. |

BLAZING FIRE
We are seeing the big three auto companies in America asking Congress for more money and they are all on the hot seat. Not only are they on the hot seat but the whole world is ready to get burnt. Notice what is going on around you and see if this is true? 2 Thess 1:6-8 (NKJV) since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you, 7 and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, 8 in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Last Sunday we talked about living in a shaking, troubled world now today we are going to see what happens when the Lord begins to show Himself to us on planet earth. Everyone would like to rest in the Lord regardless of the circumstance around them, but can we? Rest is governed by recompense. God is just and He is going to show in the end time how just He really is. He is going to pay back people that trouble the Christians. So what we need to understand is the Greek word for rest, relaxation! Now that is resting in the Lord’s will for our lives. It is a losing of the tensions which we are going through right now around our world with our economics. It seems like there is a string around our lives preventing us from being able to relax in the arms of Jesus. Matthew 11:28 Come unto me all you that are heavy laden and I will give you rest! Let’s stop working at trying to be Christians and stop laboring and let God do His work in us. Yes we are supposed to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. You’re working out your salvation right now as you’re gathered in this Church worshiping the Lord, reverencing Him and Praying for mercy and grace as you have faith in God, now. Heb 4:9, "There remains a rest for those that keep the Sabbath. Sundays are devoted to worshiping the Lord and as we do we experience abiding in the vine Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. He is with us, just as He was with Paul Silas and Timothy who were troubled just as we are today. Not sooner or latter, but now He is present if we let Him abide in our hearts. Not only is Jesus present but so is the Holy Spirit and His mighty angels of His might or power. Matthew 13:41 and 52. It is not our might or their might but, Gods might that we are seeing in operation in our world today. One of the signs of the Holy Spirit is fire in this 7th verse, In flaming fire or as the Greek would say In flames of fire or the oldest manuscripts read “in fire of flame” Remember Moses in Exodus when he was faced with the burning bush Exodus 3:4-6 the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire -- It is common in Scripture to represent the elements and operations of nature, as winds, fires, earthquakes, pestilence, everything enlisted in executing the divine will, as the "angels" or messengers of God. But in such cases God Himself is considered as really, though invisibly, present. Here the preternatural fire may be primarily meant by the expression "angel of the Lord"; but it is clear that under this symbol, the Divine Being was present, whose name is given (Ex 3:4, 6), and elsewhere called the angel of the covenant, Jehovah-Jesus. Out of the midst of a bush -- the wild acacia or thorn, with which that desert abounds, and which is generally dry and brittle, so much so, that at certain seasons, a spark might kindle a district far and wide into a blaze. A fire, therefore, being in the midst of such a desert bush was a "great sight." It is generally supposed to have been emblematic of the |

What a world we live in, as we this Thanksgiving week see what is going on around the world with greediness. We have forgotten how to count our blessing and then to share our blessing. I am so thankful as a person I can praise the Lord for the great things He is doing in my life and the life of our family. Plus to see what the Lord is doing in the family of God. We are seeing the Church go through the greatest difficulties of my life, yet with out compromising the Gospel of the Lord. Jesus came to give us life abundantly as we abide in Him. This Thanksgiving Day let your hearts (MINDS) focus upon the Lord who is rich and mighty to save. He alone has the answers to mankind’s problems and I want to thank the Lord for all He is doing in our lives, as we have accepted the Pastorate of the Harrah Assembly of God. I now look out the window and see the home my wife Ginny and I lived in for two years after being married. It brings back memories of how the Lord blessed us then in raising 4 boys and allowed us to grow in relationship with others in the community. I never dreamed in my wildest imagination we would return and I would drive by the house as go to minister in the jail in Yakima, the home I was born in on the West Wapato road. My hearts cries out with thanksgiving to God for His mercy and grace given to us as a family. Thanksgiving is all about belonging to the King of King and the Lord of Lords, becoming apart of the family of God is such a blessing and I do not want to take anything for granted. |

I have missed a week and we now have a new President and need to pray for Him that the Lord will use him in guiding our United States into Gods will for our lives. What a task that he is facing as will as the whole world. Help is needed as never before, for we are reeling in our greed. Lord we need you guidance as never before, now back to Paul’s message 13. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other. Thank the Lord there are ministers and other Christians that you can hold in highest regard for the work that they are able to do. Note we are rewarded for how will we work with one another, could that not mean how will we work with the Lord? It seems like the Church today is having a difficult time with peace. Members are disappointed in Music, the way the pastor might dress or the way people act. Lord help us to get our eyes upon you and your holiness. People that minister, or teach have much to live up to, or they are not held in high esteem regardless of how much love they might have. 14. And we urge you, brothers, warn those who are idle, encourage the timid, help the weak, be patient with everyone. It seems like the Lord wants us to understand the opportunity we have of doing good all the time. Paul is urging Christians to not be idle or timid, but be patient with one another. People are busy doing things today, but what do they accomplish that benefits others? We are given 24 hours a day and 8 which we are supposed to be idle as we sleep. But what we are seeing is people are bored and find nothing to do that is benefiting them or others. Some have a spirit that does not want to get involved and are timid, thinking someone else can do it even better than I. Also we are seeing people weak from the lad they are caring and we are seeing the results in relationship in the home, government, religious and our economical worlds. Many are running out of patience and taking things into there own hands which could lead to anarchy or lawlessness. |

I am so sorry for I seemed to have not been following a sequence of the study of 2 Thessalonians and skipped back to 1 Thessalonians 5 so I will get back on track going forward to 2 Thessalonians 1:3-12 NKJV We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other, 4 so that we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure, 5 which is manifest evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer; We are living in a day when our faith is tried like never before ,with the economical conditions and political upheaval. Many parts of the world totally are against Christians and they are blamed for all the ills of our world. Lord help us to keep our eyes upon your love and mercy and not upon the situations or circumstance of life. Greater is He that is in use, then he that is in the World. We see evidence of the power of consequences of sin every day for it is painful yet we seem to enjoy sin. That has always been a mystery, but thanks be to the Lord, we have eyes to see and ears to hear, what the Spirit of the Lord is saying to us in these days also. 6 since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you, everyone suffers pain of some kind at times that is what makes us cry out, for help. Note the trouble we have in our nation and around the world just because people are not righteous. Unrighteousness is causing us thousands of dollars and we seem to get worse, not better. We have lost our purpose for living and that is to love the Lord our God and serve Him in every area of our lives, so we do not have to suffer pain. When one is working in a jail or prison you see daily people suffer from wrong decisions they bring upon themselves. It is God way of saying what are you doing to bless me? God can bless us regardless of our circumstance and Satan cares a hate for the people of God and could it be for the world and He wants people to serve him. He is the master of tribulation and trouble. The Lord has a way truth and life that allows us to go through our circumstance. Thank the Lord He sometime carries us. |
