NOW WHAT ARE WE DOING?

John 15 The Message (MSG)
The Vine and the Branches
15 1-3 I am the Real Vine and my Father is the Farmer. He cuts off every branch of me that doesn’t bear grapes. And every branch that is grape-bearing he prunes back so it will bear even more. You are already pruned back by the message I have spoken.
“Live in me. Make your home in me just as I do in you. In the same way that a branch can’t bear grapes by itself but only by being joined to the vine, you can’t bear fruit unless you are joined with me.
5-8 “I am the Vine, you are the branches. When you’re joined with me and I with you, the relation intimate and organic, the harvest is sure to be abundant. Separated, you can’t produce a thing. Anyone who separates from me is deadwood, gathered up and thrown on the bonfire. But if you make yourselves at home with me and my words are at home in you, you can be sure that whatever you ask will be listened to and acted upon. This is how my Father shows who he is—when you produce grapes, when you mature as my disciples.
9-10 “I’ve loved you the way my Father has loved me. Make yourselves at home in my love. If you keep my commands, you’ll remain intimately at home in my love. That’s what I’ve done—kept my Father’s commands and made myself at home in his love.
11-15 “I’ve told you these things for a purpose: that my joy might be your joy, and your joy wholly mature. This is my command: Love one another the way I loved you. This is the very best way to love. Put your life on the line for your friends. You are my friends when you do the things I command you. I’m no longer calling you servants because servants don’t understand what their master is thinking and planning. No, I’ve named you friends because I’ve let you in on everything I’ve heard from the Father.
16 “You didn’t choose me, remember; I chose you, and put you in the world to bear fruit, fruit that won’t spoil. As fruit bearers, whatever you ask the Father in relation to me, he gives you.
17 “But remember the root command: Love one another.
Do you see our vision to share your life story with others to Inspirepeople to seek the Lord with all our hearts that we can obey who? Him, not Satan who is out to destroy you with the loads of sins.
So our Mission has been given to us by God who said we are Divinely called by God to minister to the needs of our community. Everyone in this Church is here to be Nurtured and to nurture one another in these last days. This is the reason we are APOSTLES in the Kingdom of Gods.
We are not our own as we did not create ourselves, God created us before we were born. So He has a plan for all He created to become more and more like Him not like Satan. This is the reason we have a Purpose as the Harrah Assembly of God that the people in. our Yakama Valley can attend as a family to grow in the Vine the Lord has given us all to abide in as we read in John 15: 1 to 17. I hope you want to make sure. That everyone you know has the ability to achieve their potential here in Harrah, Brownstown, White Swan and Medicine Valley.
In order to achieve our potential, we need a Board, persons of mature Christian experiences and knowledge, who shall be expected to meet the Requirements as set forth in 1 Timothy 3
Qualifications of Overseers
This is a faithful saying: If a man desires the position of a [a]bishop, he desires a good work. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach; not [b]given to wine, not violent, [c]not greedy for money, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not [d]covetous; one who rules his own house well, having his children in submission with all reverence (for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the church of God?); not a [e]novice, lest being puffed up with pride he fall into the same condemnation as the devil. Moreover he must have a good testimony among those who are outside, lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
Qualifications of Deacons
Likewise deacons must be reverent, not double-tongued, not given to much wine, not greedy for money, holding the [f]mystery of the faith with a pure conscience. 10 But let these also first be tested; then let them serve as deacons, being found blameless. 11 Likewise, their wives must be reverent, not [g]slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things. 12 Let deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well. 13 For those who have served well as deacons obtain for themselves a good standing and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.
Also Acts 6
Now in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplying, there arose a complaint against the Hebrews by the Hellenists,[a] because their widows were neglected in the daily distribution. Then the twelve summoned the multitude of the disciples and said, “It is not desirable that we should leave the word of God and serve tables. Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business; but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”
And the saying pleased the whole multitude. And they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit, and Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolas, a proselyte from Antioch, whom they set before the apostles; and when they had prayed, they laid hands on them.
Then the word of God spread, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests were obedient to the faith.

So a Board member needs to be at least 21 years of age.
I as your pastor have been Ordained since April 25, 1985 while Pastoring in Onalaska, WA. I grew up in this Church as a Student, Primary teacher, Jr Teacher, Youth teacher and Sunday Superintendent with 13 teachers working in this Church. As youth leader we introduced People for people have 25 plus youth attend on Thursday nights. Kids were excited and I was asked by Harry Kawk to represent our area on the Campus life Board for 15 years minister to 13 High School in the area. Then being elected to Serve on the White Swan School Board for 4 years as we went through the most troublesome time of my life seeing three Superintends replaced. I was accused of being a Indian hater and was defeated by Sharon Heddon a write in who was advertised at the polls as a write in. I protect to Eugene Naff and He said I could call for a reelection and I said no it is to costly, please do not let this happen again. I learned very early in life Satan is out to stop us from being what God called us to be and do in the Kingdom of God. Then coming through Union Gap after having my Budget approved for 1980, the Lord spoke to me about going into the ministry and when I got home I said to Ginny my wife Honey we are going into another line of work. She said the Ministry, Yes the ministry and I will take the Brean Courses to qualify for ministering and for two years I work for Gordon. Stover changing water in the Mornings and evening for two years and spent time in the Bible Studies and completed in 1982 when we accepted the Church in Onalaska. Read the Bulletin for July 28, 1985
Then Resigned and worked for Green Hill a Juvenile Rehabilitation center for the worst teenage in the State As a Security person that gave me the opportunity to work with Suicidal inmates in the Olympia Hospital. I learned you have to be with in a arms-length in order to prevent one from taking his or her life. Suicide in very difficult to prevent and only God can change a person mind set if we let Him rule and reign.
Then in 1987 we were asked to go to LA to direct a Group Home for Hollygrove by a pastor friend Wilber Kirsch who we appreciated as a fellow minister from Napavine, WA.  This was a 10 year experience we shall never forget as we were able to take the Group home boys to WA for two trips one in August and the other in Dec for Christmas with our Parents. We took a different route as was ab le to give the boy the opportunity to raft the Rouge river, see Yellowstone,  go to Los Vegas and see Hoover Dam and the Casinos but the boys had to be kept moving, which we did. To experience the community love for the Group Home and foster programs of LA was a Joy to see, as Firemen and Hollywood Actors and Sports teams showed them with gifts, was amazing. We meet Koby Bryant before he played for the Lakers at 18 yrs of age at an even one of our Group home boys as the student of Acton, High School in CA was awarded a celebration of Koby’s contract with the Lakers. I also applied to be a Chaplin for the LA Sheriffs Department and was accepted. I was able to minister in many of the Prison in S. CA which was also while a Group Home Manager. Only God know how many people we affected during this time.  But then in 1997 I was accused of abuse by some students and was exonerated by the State and our Commission Michael Antonavich for running a great Group home. Yes it hurt and here is a letter from one of our boys. Justin Roe.
The very next day I was hired to be on Staff of Westview Assembly of God a start up new Church for the Assembly of God with Larry Kasper as Pastor, so one day feeling so bad and the next day rejoicing, being thankful we were still accepted to minister to people.
Then in 2000 we sold our House in Lancaster, CA and came to Yakima to Live in Don Kearby’s double wide Trailer to take care of Virginias Mother Faye for 3 years while I work for the Yakima Valleys Sheriff’s department as a Chaplain for 10 years teaching mandatory classes for 3 years life skill. Programs and was told to stop as some reported I was preaching. I told the Leaders I would not use this as a time to Preach and convert people, but teach Live Skills and how to change direction. I spoke at the God Pod once a week to inmates wanting to be taught Biblical Principles. And had to quite as someone in the God pod accused me of sending people to hell as they did not read the Bible. No I can’t but God can and I resigned and gave our Director Roberson a letter of resignation and He said this is the best letter I have seen and we are going to throw you a party at the Justice Center and they did and all the staff I worked with where present. It was a time of rejoice for me and then I was accepted as Pastor of the Harrah Assembly of God Church. where we grew up. So here I am going ion our 11th year in Harrah and still trusting God to add to our Church, so we can have an impact for the Kingdom of God right here in our Valley.
