This is the hardest message I have ever studied for God Has a way of getting our attention!

Acts 5 New King James Version (NKJV)
Lying to the Holy Spirit
We are going to see sins punishment for lying against the Holy Spirit while the Church is beginning to flourish with the healing of the man Born lame and the Power of the Holy Spirit to give new tongues to His ordained people the Church. Even when they are cast into prison and great opposition to believers they still had a voice to tell their side of the story. Everyone hear as a voice to tell what the Lord has done and is still doing in our lives. So I hope we are empowered by God to have a reason to speak life into others that are in the prison of sin limiting them in who they were created to be. Lord help us to know we are going to be questioned but that is ok for we need a reason to act and think like we do, so we have a good behavior and attitude about what is going on around our world today.  The Church was given by God to show mercy, and forgiveness, that love could be possible and seen in how it would provide for the needs of the body called the Church. Can love be silent and not seen? You know when. someone loves you for they care about your concerns without them asking. The Church was created to care for one another and they care from their own families first. We are also called the Family of Gods. It is so important we feel for one another so we show love by actions and deeds. So, it was a joy to help those who had a need by selling possessions and bring it to the Church.
But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession. Notice how this chapter begins but; not thinking of what just happen, but what is happening now. It is not what happen yesterday? What is going on now will affect us in the future. It has always been and will continue to be good mixed with wrong. Weeds growing with the good seed. The farmer better know how to attack and destroy the weeds in his fields, or otherwise his time is wasted on, no value. So here they haver sold some possession. Notice Ananias And he kept back part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles’ feet. It is always good to see husband and wife together but to be involved in evil is being as through we were never saved, as they were not rooted or grounded in abiding in the vine. They are more interested in self than others for he kept back some for themselves. It is interesting how many times we think we are smarter than anyone else as we gave some but not all. It is very difficult to day to be totally committed to God and what He has in store for us for we will do what we think is necessary. Once a month to Church or may be once a month to Bible Study. I can get as much staying at home and watching preachers or teacher that are really good. Compromise is always working in the devil’s camp. When God says He will bless us for assembling in the house of the Lord, or He will pour out blessing when we give of tithes and offerings that is what He means and when we obey you watch and wait for it is going to happen. Here Peter is going to take him to task.

But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.” This is amazing for nothing is said to Peter about how much was sold and how much was given for it. He acts quickly; remember He was now filled with the Holy Spirit and it was the Holy Spirit that gave Peter the words to say. For this was a shock to Ananias that Satan had entered his heart to lie to the Holly Spirit and keep back part of the price. Ananias you did not lie to me but to God. Notice how often Satan enters our hearts and making us say what he wants us to say and do what he wants us to do. Look at what happen to King Saul as an evil spirit from God troubled him. Satan is a lying spirit that really fills our hearts and make evil even feel good. He lied to the Holy Spirit and accepted the Lust for Evil. Ananias and Sapphires could have been filled with the Holy Spirit with the hundred and twenty. So here they felt enabled to give generously as he was led by the Holy Spirit to do this great work. It is so easy to feel when we do a little for the Lord that is enough when what He wants is our all day and night to be totally used of the Holy Spirit. It is so easy to be carried on by our Pride and covetousness of dominion, I am in charge not the Holy Spirit of Gods will. Peter said, yes Ananias it was yours and you’re the one that was in control of the money to be given but you were conceived to not give it all. You could of said, No, I keep back some in case it would have been necessary latter. You were under no necessity of selling the Land at all, or bring the Money to the Apostles. You could of keep the money and the land to. It was not a necessity because God loves a cheerful giver. We are to give and do good works for the simple reason, God is blest to bless us. It is better not to vow than to vow. Isn’t it strange how Satan wants to own us and dictate to us but he never brings fulfillment of accomplishment for he is the father of lies. It is so easy to falter and lie about what we think is right. Who are we pleasing man or God. Here everyone was selling something to give to the poor. Ananias was sol prideful for he was thinking only of I and doing what everyone else is doing as pride filled his life. Even when we give our all. let’s not boast about it. Or let the left hand know what the right hand is doing. You lied not to men but the Holy Spirit this was discerned by Peter who know the secrets of men’s hearts. When we scorn we have to bear it and we are seeing family hurting for our Father God is not present. We are seeing total collapse of our families, Schools, businesses, government and societies around the world. Lord help us to not be deceived for the Lord is not going to be mocked
Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last. So great fear came upon all those who heard these things. What a schock for God loves you and wants your love, so you’re not dead in trespasses of sins evil ways. Ananias did not have a word of defense; the judgement fell quickly. We will never know how Peter must off felt, any more that what we are seeing today with homelessness, or how all are against Israel, or how many are opposed to the way, truth and life found in the Scriptures. We are seeing fear attack so many today that leaves people with no ability to face reality of being homeless or lawless. Children fearful of war and mom and dad who are abusive and downright mean. Fear of bulling, fear of attacks. Of nations and even neighbors running wild. Fear of being a no body. Remember earlier Peter was caught lying who this Jesus was. Yet he went out and wept and asked forgiveness. This man felt no sense of wrong, so did not ask forgiveness. Notice this is at the beginning of Grace that the Church was going to be noted for as God, is willing to accept anyone forgiveness while they are still alive.  And the young men arose and wrapped him up, carried him out, and buried him. Young men who have been given to bury the dead acted quickly and carried him out and buried Him as soon as possible. Then three hour later in verse 7 TO BE CONTINUED!
