We are getting ready to have our Annual Church Business Meeting March 24 at 12pm here at the Church this will be the first time we have meet on a Sunday. The Board felt like we needed to have some fellowship as we eat and then go into our Business Meeting.
I know we all need one another a part of our Assembly of God Church as members, we have requirement that give us the right to be affiliated with a governing body that gives one the right to be a minister and us, a right as a Church to handle the affairs of our Church body. We are a Church that is united regardless of party affiliation as we are affiliated with the Biblical principles laid down by the Holy Spirit of God.
I would like to go over what it means to be a member of the Harrah Assembly of God.
1. Knowing the Lord as your savior. John 3:16  For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
2.  Be committed to the Church be attending and giving of tithes and offering. Malachi 8, “Will a man rob God?
Yet you have robbed Me! But you say, ‘In what way have we robbed You?’  In tithes and offerings.
You are cursed with a curse, For you have robbed Me,
Even this whole nation.
10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts,
“If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it. 11 “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the Lord of hosts; 12 “And all nations will call you blessed, For you will be a delightful land,” Says the Lord of hosts.
3. Understand the need for Government and how you’re empowered?  Ephesians 4  I, therefore, the prisoner [a]of the Lord, [b]beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in [c]you all.
But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. Therefore He says: “When He ascended on high,He led captivity captive,And gave gifts to men.” (Now this, “He ascended”—what does it mean but that He also [d]first descended into the lower parts of the earth? 10 He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.)
11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the [e]edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.
4.  Have the ability to vote and be involved. With the everyday maintenance of the Church and its properties, for it is your church.
5.  Your connecting to the Assemblies of God doctrine.
A.The Bible as the inspired infallible and authoritative Word of God 2 Timothy 3:16-17. 16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for [c]instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

B.There is one true God, eternally Existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. The terms "Trinity" and "persons" as related to the Godhead, while not found in the Scriptures, are words in harmony with Scripture, whereby we may convey to others our immediate understanding of the doctrine of Christ respecting the Being of God, as distinguished from "gods many and lords many." We therefore may speak with propriety of the Lord our God who is One Lord, as a trinity or as one Being of three persons, and still be absolutely scriptural.

Matthew 28:19 Go [a]therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
2 Corinthians 13: 14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the [d]communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
John 14:16-17 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another [a]Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
C.In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sin less life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a Thousand years John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
D.In the blessed hope, the rapture of the Church at Christ’s second coming Titus 2:11-14 11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.
E.  The only means of being cleansed from sin is   through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ. John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
F.    Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential Titus 3:4-7 But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
G. In Water Baptism by immersion. Matthew 28:19 Go [a]therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

H.    In the redemption work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer. 1 Peter 2:24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose [a]stripes you were healed.
I. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for more of the Spirit of God, And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
J.   In the Sanctification power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life. Galatians 5:16-25 16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: [a]adultery, [b]fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, [c]murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 [d]gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
K. In the Resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation. Revelations 20:11-15 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before [a]God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second [b]death. 15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
When you become a part of this Church you have privileges that allow us to be in harmony with one another for the Lord took the law and used it as a teacher for Grace to operate in the lives of His followers with in the Church. We are given by God the ability to have an impact in our area to witness to the Good News Jesus saves as we abide in the Vine; Jesus so we can produce good fruit for all to be a blessing. If your not attending a Church you have no privileges in being a Christian or a follower of the Lord and your thinking without having any works to prove who you are or where you’re abiding? We need the Lord and it is His Church so as an individual who is created by God I need to be in His house as a Temple of the Holy Spirit to receive all the Lord has for me. It is a personal relationship with God we all need in order to have accountability for our responsibility as a Disciple of the Lords. Who are you following is very important for the Lord know the way through the wilderness of sin all around us as He keeps us clean by the washing of the blood of the Lamb.
Blessing are yours as you work for the night is coming with no man is able to work. You’re on a winning team when your gathering together in the House of the Lord as Family enjoying teaching, correcting as your achieving your Potential the Lord created you to enjoy.
