Mother’s day May 13, 2018

Thank the Lord for mothers and father for they where given to teach children what is good and to do it, teaching  evil and not doing it. They are melting and molding children like God wants to melt and mold us into His image. That’s People that are mature in leadership governing people calling to mind goodwill and Peace that is so needed while growing up.
I remember will how when we first where married I was working in the woods leaving early 5 am and coming home late 5 pm. So, when we began having a family of boys I was not at home to train and correct them like Ginny was. We had an agreement she would do what she could and if she needed help I would help train and correct when I got home. I was the bad parent that said, this hurts me more than you. They certainly could not understand this, but I am sure they learned when they had children.
All down through history it seems father where on the job and moms took care of the children, so here we see Solomon letting us know how important women are described them as having 30 Characteristics that we need to look at in Proverbs 31:10 to 31. 1 Timothy 2:9 & 10; 1 Peter 3:1-6 also gives this description in the new Testament.
10. Who[b] can find a virtuous[c] wife? For her worth is far above rubies. What a way to start out being perfect for a virtuous wife was the ideal lady. More valuable than rubies, she was a person of tremendous strength through a weaker vessel she had wisdom grace and the fear of God. Just like the Judges had to be men of truth, fearing God. She is a women of Spirit; faith, reverence, worship, hope and prayer knowing how to managing other people. One who is pious and industrious, resolved to high principles that give her husband and kids praise. She conducts herself never giving way to jealousy.
11 The heart of her husband safely trusts her; So he will have no lack of gain. The husband finds it easy to trust her in all affairs and does not need to worry about damage or reproach, for she is always seeing to his interests and will never betray his counsel. She is confident in her assurance of meeting his needs and has no thought of wrong behavior, or attitude of her man.
12 She does him good and not evil All the days of her life. Here we see her showing love not hate, not a foolishness but seemingly satisfaction, all is will. She shows a caring attitude and behavior that brings satisfaction of achieving their potential as a couple.
13 She seeks wool and flax, And willingly works with her hands. What a challenge she accepted on making sure she spent her time not in idleness, but busy seeking something to do for her family at home, not on a job but where she was cooped up being productive benefiting the whole family.
14 She is like the merchant ships, She brings her food from afar. What a description of a mother for she knows the value of food and how it needs to be protected regardless of how much she may have, or how far she may have to go to get it, food is a necessity and care she shown is remarkable.
15 She also rises while it is yet night, And provides food for her household,
And a portion for her maidservants. What a testimony of making sure she gets done what is needed without becoming frustrated for not having enough time, she gets started before sunrise to make sure her household is taking care of, so they have the energy for the day.
16 She considers a field and buys it; From her profits she plants a vineyard. Notice she is very conscience of money, that is required in order to provide for her family and does not go around her husband, but through much observation and cost analyzes she see she has enough money and can buy a field and puts in a vineyard. That is being industrious she sees, desires and gets for the good of the family.
17 She girds herself with strength, And strengthens her arms. It is so important that women realize the importance of the body to have the strength needed for raising a family and taking care of the needs of a husband, it is taking care of what God has given us, so we do not run out of energy. We are seeing powerlessness to day affect people’s will being, which is seen by obesity and laziness.
18 She perceives that her merchandise is good, And her lamp does not go out by night. She looks around and makes sure all is will and yet she has the time to meditate, which is an assist that builds one character for God loves people that are always drawing closer to Him.

19 She stretches out her hands to the distaff, And her hand holds the spindle. The distaff and spindle were instruments that were used to make clothing, so if she needed to take the time to make her children clothes or repaired clothes that needed fixing up she had the ability to do it. I can remember Mom or grandmas would make clothes and we were so proud of what they made so we could show it off. So mother do all you can to save money and repair clothes is being industrious.
20 She extends her hand to the poor, Yes, she reaches out her hands to the needy. It is amazing how unselfish she is for she is interested in helping others who she knows is having a hard time.
21 She is not afraid of snow for her household, For all her household is clothed with scarlet. She knows how to take care of her household regardless of the climate for they are dressed as upper classed wearing scarlet kindly clothes.
22 She makes tapestry for herself; Her clothing is fine linen and purple. Here again showing how she took delight in providing the best for herself and for other as her family wore and used fine linen and clothes of not only scarlet but purple again showing to be upper class
23 Her husband is known in the gates, When he sits among the elders of the land. Even her husband is a man that is noticed as he sets with the leaders of his time and shows himself as a man that is will pleased in who he is, where he is, and what he is all about. He has an image along with his wife.
24 She makes linen garments and sells them,And supplies sashes for the merchants. She is not only interested in his family but all who are traveling through the area for she has something to sell she has make so is always seeking ways to make money.
25 Strength and honor are her clothing; She shall rejoice in time to come. What a statement for to have clothing that is referred to as strength and Honor. It used to be clothing was worn as a symbol of pride of ownership where today the older it looks the better one feels. There is no dignity in what we wear. Lord help us to get back to the place where clothing is able to show character of strength and honor. Church used to be a place you went to all dressed up in a suit and nice clothes; but today we call our dress contemporary, dressing comfortable.
26 She opens her mouth with wisdom, And on her tongue is the law of kindness. To have a mouth that is full of wisdom shows she was very controlled by who she was as a child of the Lord herself and wanted all to enjoy life to the greatest degree. She worked at her potential which God allowed her to enjoy without a lot of extra baggage. She worked at dumping the evil of idleness and was busy knowing who she was.
27 She watches over the ways of her household, And does not eat the bread of idleness. She is a person that knows the power of positive thinking and wanted her children to see how blest she was by being busy for the Kingdom of God.
28 Her children rise up and call her blessed; Her husband also, and he praises her: 29 “Many daughters have done well, But you excel them all.” To have children that are blessed because of having a mother that worked at being the best made her and her husband very respected by children, for they are all doing the same thing. Showing how important doing all you can to make everything important, was always a challenge to move forward.
30 Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.
It is strange the beautifully blessed girls are the ones many times that are always seemingly feeling they are not beautiful enough. Looks do not satisfy nor being praised does not satisfy, it is knowing you’re doing all you can to achieve your potential that gives the assurance all is well with my body, soul and spirit.
31 Give her of the fruit of her hands, And let her own works praise her in the gates.
Thank the Lord for the way He created us all to work at being what God created us to be, for God did not control mankind like he does the lily of the valley. We have a choice to do Gods will, or do it my way. Doing things our way is always going to lead us to Satan ways just like what happen to Eve in Paradise. She saw, desired, took and ate and gave to Adam and they both ate and since it was wrong hid from God. Let us make sure we see Gods desire, seeking to find the truth and obeying the truth so we are set free of our thing and doing Gods goodwill and bringing peace to our home and our surrounding area of life.
Mothers thanks, for accepting your role and doing all you can to please the Lord, your Husband and your kids for they are all gifts from the Lord and we are needed to take care to not abuse, but use, so all can receive the blessing of the Lord growing in your home!
