As a citizen in this
great country I am concerned with what is going on and know we have more
education than anytime in our lives right on our smart phones, but yet little
common sense to use the understanding of the knowledge we have with the wisdom
that can set us free of addictions, that are so binding upon society. As
a person who is involved in our community working with others I feel we can
make a difference if we all become involved for the good around us. I pray that the
Church you are going to is a good place of worship, for those wanting to help
others in ministry. As one of the Churches we are here in Harrah wanting to see
a healing from all the ills of sin that attack us on a daily bases. We are here
not to focus on ourselves, but wanting to see our community overcome the
addictions that are so oppressive and depressive. We are in an
age when there are a lot of people isolated from what is going on and care less
about the ills that surround us. We are seeing less connectedness in families,
service organization, and community involvement and it is time we become
involved to make a difference for the good of our community. We want to be a
place where you can connect your family with our Church, so your needs will be
meet regardless of who you are. We realize it is not being conformed to
ourselves, but conformed to the word of God that is going to release us from
the bondages of wrong behavior and attitudes. We are living in
unbroken relationships and promises in every area of life it seems, only God
can restore us to the place where everyone is going to be protected by being
civil to one another. We are here to help in grief, death and dying, divorce,
job loss, hospitalization, financial struggles, loneliness, convalescence,
terminal illness, addictions of gambling, alcohol, drugs and other life
difficulties that overwhelm a persons freedom of being who God created them to
be.
We are people that where and are, created by God and that is the reason we all have 15 cents in our bodies, souls and spirits. Our Spirits have five senses: Faith, hope, reverence, worship and prayer. Our Souls five senses: Imagination, reason, affection, memory and conscience. Then our bodies 5 senses which we know to well: Eyes, ears, nose, mouth and feelings. When you are controlled by the body we are prone to get angry very quickly, then we are controlled by our souls we have a tendency to be way of base from how God created us, but when we understand the importance of the soul we take heart and are glad with who we are, where we are and where we are going. Then the most important part of our person is our Spirit, which can either be control by a higher power God; or be controlled by the enemy of our souls and bodies which causes destructive behavior and attitudes. Man was created to give the Lord a change to rule and reign and when He does, there is peace regardless of the circumstance we may be going through. God wants us to go through the wilderness as He leads us. We do not want to be controlled by God, but every addiction known to man for then we are in control. Who doesn’t want to be in control and yet look at what is happening around the world with terrorism ruling as dictators? Many enjoy being dictated to and do not what to accept reality. Right here in the Reservation we seem to think we can have two nations with out being responsible for our actions and behavior and what are we seeing? Is it not unhappiness, no justice, no addressing problems that affect us all? It is time we see the need of working together for the benefit of all. We need to come together and come up with a solution to what is tearing us apart, like bitterness, and angry feeling of superiority. We are humans and have a need of communicating in such a way we benefit one another to have peace that flows like a river, giving us joy of belonging to one another. This is a world that is to be managed by all, or we will destroy what God created. Let’s take heart and just do what is right by one another and we will see people become better and better and not bitter about what is going on in our Reservation and the Yakima Valley. I trust your Church feels the same way and together we can continue to shine the light of the word of God to all we meet, so we can truly be a land of the free and the home of the brave!!! Blessing to all as you seek the way truth and life!!! |
