Here we are in the fourth day of 2017 and are so thrilled in knowing they are involved in the life of the Church which brings so much pleasure, for we never get enough and yet we are fulfilled in accomplishing, not forsaking of ourselves in the house of the Lord. We know from experience the Family of God needs to get together to be empowered by one another, to put our hands to the plow and not looking back, as we need to keep on moving forward in Gods direction. It seems like we have so many voices that are clamoring for our involvement and we have to choose good over evil!
James 4 New King James Version (NKJV)
Pride Promotes Strife that needs to be resisted or we sin.
Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? We are always at war with our foe Satan. For the old man is bent on doing what comes natural. You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet[a] you do not have because you do not ask.  The old man or person you really are is fighting all time against Gods will, for we want to do our thing rather than, God will. So, we hate and that is like being a murder. We are seeing more violence than any time as, lawless seems to be upon us, and we are seeing this around the world. Many are calling upon the Lord now and asking for help. Notice this is not going to happen without the Lord will wanting to be done. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures. Lord help us to see the importance of asking, so You can intervene and come into the situation and bring a solution for the good of all His creation.  Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Adulterers and adulteresses is very descriptive of evil and it is so easy to become involved in the things of the world, for everyone seems to be involved in activities that are not benefiting mankind, but being inhuman and spectacular, or way out beyond human ability. Look at the movie industry and video games that see how many you can kill without any consequences to the one involved at the time, yet they need more adulteress actions. Never get enough, never getting satisfied is common with those who have adulterous relationships. I do not want to be antisocial, but make sure my imagination times vividness does equal reality that benefits all around me, not just me. We seem to be living in a time when many are only interested in what they want, without any feelings of how others feel or think. This is selfishness seen as adultery at the greatest degree.
Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously”? I have seen jealousy many times destroy relationships and then seen it as the greatest assist we have to give us the respect needed to trust and obey. The Lord says, He is a Jealous God and does not like us paying attention to anyone else, like obeying Satan and not Him. It is so easy to give God our best when we are hurting and He wants our attention all the time not just in emergency!
But He gives more grace. Grace is only given by God when it is needed, for it is just like the air we breathe to be alive. Grace is a byproduct of the package given as we accept the Lord as our savior. Grace is greater than all our sins is so true, as God can forgive the worst of sinners.
Therefore He says:
“God resists the proud,
But gives grace to the humble.”  Thank the Lord He makes sure we are not able to take His place, for no one else can create anything out of nothing, yet that is what God is doing all down through history. We all need help to stay connected to the Lord without pride of thinking we are better than anyone else.

Humility Cures Worldliness
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil a and he will flee from you.  This is impossible unless we are abiding in the vine; Jesus, for He gives us the ability to be empowered to resist and not get involved with adultery thinking, I can do whatever I want to. As a Christian I need to see the devil flee from me, not to me. When I submit to the Lords will I am safe and secure in His Outstretched hands.
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify yourhearts, you double-minded. This is what happens when we are abiding in the vine; Jesus, for He then is going to supply what we need, for remember we are His and He knows what we need all the time. This is working out our salvation, just like it is work to keep clean. We take the soap the soap does not take us. Thank the Lord we are not double minded, one moment following the Lord and the next following Satan. We are connected or married to the Lord all the time.
Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. The most rewarding times I have had with the Lord is when I am totally submerged in the Holy Spirit crying for joy, my sins are forgiven and God is ministering to me in such personal ways, renewing my spirit, so I feel good and cleansed all over again. The joy of the Lord is better than anything one can experience, regardless of what the circumstance is, I am in.
10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. This is up to me and it too is work, for my mind is given over to meditating upon the Lord and He fills me with positive works that are refreshing and empowering to my soul and spirit and I am lifted up above the things of this world.
11 Do not speak evil of one another, brethren. He who speaks evil of a brother and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law, but a judge. As I am waiting upon the Lord my mind is not focused upon others, but my need and the desire to see others experience the joy of the Lord as well. I feel any time you see something wrong you can deal with it, warn them and if they do not want to change, you can do nothing, if they are a-part of your Church and do not hear you then your required to take it to one of the elders and if they still do not listen, take it to the Church. This is found in Matthew 18 in dealing with those who are unruly out of order.
13 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”; It is so easy to plan one’s life to the degree one never gives completely to the Lords will for we are so interested in money, it can destroy relations, just like any other addictions that Satan lays on us. 14 whereas you do not know what will happentomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. The time we have is given to us by God and it becomes necessary we understand we are good at planning out our lives based upon how much money can I get, for then I will be happy. Life is not successful until one is totally abiding in the vine: Jesus. Which James knew will.
15 Instead ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.” Seeing his brother and knowing He was Gods, son and to see what He went through at the cross and dying laying in the grave 3 days and coming back to life was only His Fathers will that now we could expect to achieve our potential, as we accepted the way, truth and life.
16 But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil. How proud we are most of the time for we are so human and want to think our will is more important than anything else. This cause us not to feel bad about sin but enjoy and boast of wrong. Even those in jail boast of how the evaded the police and yet are in jail, or boast in how many times spent in jail or prison. That’s what makes the consequences of sin so real we see, imagine, taste and give, if it is wrong we hide from shame of wrong behavior and attitude.
17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin. Lord help us to make sure our imagination times vividness equals reality that is true not false. The Bible tells us there are two ways; heaven or hell, wide and narrow, up or down, pure or impure, righteous or unrighteous and good or evil. I pray today you will give yourself to the Lord so you can feel good about who you are so you have good, positive mental health, so life is enjoyed by you and all that are around you, so we can rejoice in God our Lord and savior’s forgiveness of sin as we desire to please the Lord, not self or others but the Lord.
