We are looking at becoming a winner and we need to look at 6 keys to a good healthy self-image. 1. Know the truth about your self. See your self as a winner. 2. Concentrate on your objectives, not on the problem, losing or other people. Do your job the best you know how to do it. Then let the chips fall where they will.
3. Forget past mistakes. Let sleeping dogs die. Learn to profit from your mistakes. What you did yesterday or last year is history. Use these experiences to make you better. Self pity and what ifs, only create additional failure. Realize it takes effort to change your self-image. 1. Realize it takes faith in your creator, which is the most powerful force in our world and life. It’s personal. See you’re self-changing then visualize it happening. Prayer makes it possible.
2. Who you are is more important that your win and loss record. Worth is not based on wealth, education, even winning games, or a good social life; these things are like a roller coaster, up and down. If you winning it is ok. But if your not winning it’s not ok. What happens when we are weak? Your team is weak? You lose sight of goals and want to quit. Whose team are you on? Can you lose and still be a winner? YES! What can you do? List your positive points, then the negative points about your self. Cross out the negative with the Power of your creator.
3. Winners know winning means responding to authority immediately with a positive attitude. Bill Gates makes it a habit to call those he works with closely (Stupid) for it keeps them humble, the more they know about computers the more they realize they really don’t know.
2 most common weaknesses of man. 1. Lack of personal respect for discipline. 2. Lack of respect for authority. We all want freedom to do our thing. Our Creator isn’t going to allow freedom without a cost. If you want freedom begin to accept His Higher power. He is the way, truth and the life. 1. Why is it so hard to obey? 2. What happens when we do not obey the rules of the government? The home? The Church? 3. What must we do to receive freedom? OBEY THE RULES. SELF DISCIPLINE.
We see, desire, feel take and give and then Hid. We look, study, and question why not? |
